My test result is Bled Alkaline

I have heard too many myths about this movie: "Extremely ruining ethics and teachings", "Cult film pioneer", "Cult Bible", "anti-genre film typical", "No movie carnival sitting after watching"... .... So and so.
Today, I finished reading it like a pilgrimage.
I am tired.

The movie itself is not boring.
It can be said that I can fully understand that some people say that "Rocky Horror Show" is a high-end place where the A-level is downgraded to the B-level. The rhythm of the film is quite good. In such a thin and deliberately lack of a unified main plot, it can make people not boring, and it means that the tension of the movie is very strong and wide. The actor's refined singing, swing and confession also make the whole film feel full of rhythm. At least the feeling I see is fluctuating.
I feel boring, probably because I have no way to resonate with the evil smell of the "Cult Cult" that I have said.
The unexpected element of the cult, once the excitement of resonance is lost, it is no surprise.
It seems that in my bones, there is really less Cult carnival factor.

I guess the director also anticipated that an audience like me would appear.
The director, of course, could not predict that his film would remain popular for 40 years (the director should retired in the 1990s), and he did not hear of his new interpretation and supplementary role of the film.
But the little trap he put in the film can transcend the limit of time and throw it to the audience of every era.
How low can the viewers accept the elements of the "Cult cult" that they have said?
What kind of taste will you chew with the emergence of these elements?
In response to this problem, the director preemptively dropped a litmus paper-like test game in the film. The rules of the game are very simple. The audience is required to "watch the show" from two narrative points of view, and from the inside of the play to watch the 100-minute destruction of ethics and teachings, and then ask yourself which point of view you have more Resonate.

* * * * * * The

first type is the narrator throughout the play: Brad (played by Barry Bostwick) and Jenny (played by Susan Sarandon).

Their image is alive and free, which is common outside the play, and the audience group that is not so able to accept the "Cult cult" will look like it.
They may be well educated and go to college.
They have a fair manner and a good conversation, because this kind of life is more beneficial.
They live rigorously, are familiar with social rules, look forward to the success of marriage and career, and work tirelessly.
They will take risks, but they are safer ones, such as a two-day and one-night sightseeing tour, and they don’t expect too much derailment during the trip, especially bad things like anchoring.
The movies they like to watch are often American films, often with agency marks from the top five factories, often with superstars, often with sponsorship slogans, and often have a month-long release time and theaters across the province. They don't reject special movies, but they don't particularly look for them. They always subconsciously skip the film frame that starts with Zombie Detective Queer while renting the movie, and walk back to the avenue of publicity this month.
Then...Although they didn't say it clearly, they may have chauvinistic and traditional ideas of male protagonist and female deputy, just packaged in a clever way.
If the audience meets such a "Brad and Jenny" standard, one night on a whim, they just rented "Rocky Horror Show" on a whim one night, I believe that the reaction will probably not be out of the scene after watching the show. Brad and Jenny made a helpless curse halfway: "It's inexplicable."
Yes, "Rocky Horror Show" is a baffling movie.
Brad and Jenny, who came to the strange castle for help because the vehicle broke down at night, ran into a celebration party organized by Dr. Ford. Dr. Ford (transvestite), who is a male but in women's clothing, created the newborn Rocky, who is going to have a strong bronze body to become his sex toy (incest, gay complex), two narrators with strict etiquette. Faced with such a situation, I was so scared that I didn't even dare to run away. Next, in the castle, everyone indulged in the tide of sex. The doctor took all of Brad and Jenny’s first night (bisexuality, unmarried relationship), and Jenny went into trouble and had an affair with Loki (sexual attraction). Gender and sexuality are completely windy. Suddenly, two servants who had not played much in the scene jumped out and revealed the fact that the castle is actually a spaceship, and everyone is a cosmic person. They shot and killed Post Doctor Ford, and left a few humans who had tasted the forbidden fruit and fled back to their mother. star. ..... There is no climax, no focus, no rules, normal people, if they don’t make a few inexplicable shouts, they must first wonder if they have some brain holes.
In fact, Brad and Jenny’s reaction to these derailed events that have devastated the power of ethics and education throughout the play can also be regarded as the ups and downs in the “watching” of the audience outside the play.
The first is the astonishment at the castle party, and the question to everyone why they have been singing. It is as if the audience is right about one-third of the film’s launch but still has no focus. There is no familiar three-act drama series arrangement for a long time. , Unable to enter the confusion of the situation.
Later, when Loki was resurrected, this grotesque superpower scene made Brad and Jenny fiercely resist contacting the doctor, just like the resistance mechanism of psychoanalysis. However, they resisted the existence of the doctor, but they couldn't help being repeatedly attracted by the visual stimulation of Rocky's beauty, and staying there. This also clearly broke the boundaries of the fourth wall and directly pointed out the audience's sexual fantasy of the actor's copper body. , Can make it continue to stay to watch the film, despite complaining again and again.
When things stopped and the party ended, but the sex comedy of you sleeping me sleeping you started in the castle, Brad and Jenny gave in, or it should be said that it collapsed. They began to interact with these lunatics in the castle, and no longer mind being reserved. They, as well as the audience, are very reluctant to start "find a way to like" to appreciate this doctor and this movie. After the attempt was successful, the movie audiences gradually became better off, and they were even willing to have a peaceful meal at the same table with the director and screenwriter, and look at each other from the long-term perspective.
Is there such a great reconciliation? This is wrong. The movie came with a carbine like a surprise attack, and broke the news that everyone was an alien super-expansion, and then killed the protagonist Dr. Ford at the fastest speed and most astonishment; then, the screenwriter patted the butt and flashed the man. How could this be? Can movies be messed up like this? Brad and Jenny and the audience, who couldn't get away from the posture that just seemed to be engaged, can only wear garter socks, groping in the gray night, hoping to catch a little concrete evidence to restore something, but in the end they can only blindly. I don't know what it is, and I'm speechless in the moonlight.
The audience is helpless, because they have broken through the lower limit they didn't want to break through to yield, but the movie has risen to an invisible place, and there is no trace.

The second kind is the bystanders who only perform two scenes of flower arrangements and do not have enough plot: the unnamed guests of the masquerade party.

These people are fleeting, and all appearances are cut off, probably without hindering the progress of the film.
But the existence of these people is very interesting.

They are old and young, black and white. The motives are unknown, the origin is unknown, how to get the information of this castle, nothing is clear, only one thing is certain: they all love Dr. Ford. So came from afar to join Rocky's resurrection party.
This is very much like the crowd of viewers who have loved "Cult" for many years, isn't it?
You have no way of knowing what kind of age people will like cults, only that this group of people has to be low-key. However, they are full of enthusiasm. No matter how far away they are, they are willing to go far and get them, and they are not afraid of fishy.
They could watch the doctor's garter stockings indifferently, could watch Loki's resurrection without being surprised, and only toasted at the violent occasion where the doctor beat a violent race to death. Blood and sex can't scare them, but can attract them to talk about it and appreciate it on a high platform.
This is the image of the sentient beings of the cult audience. They love the doctor and also love "Rocky Horror Show".

In the role assignments in these two plays, I seem to feel that this story wants to jump off the screen, preemptively "predicting" the audience's bad intentions. But what's the big deal? If you dare to make such a bold movie about sex, gender and sexuality, would you still be afraid of missing such an artistic attempt? I'm afraid it's a little bit in the rules.

However, for the litmus paper that the director threw to me, my test result was Brady alkaline.

Sorry, it seems that the last thing left to me is only the ending song that I sang at the beginning. I want someone to remember the lyrics again. What crazy things have been done in this hundred minutes.
And I was destined to be the one staring at the ancient castle and going to the universe, only to be ridiculously exposed to the wild wearing garters, Svenshaven Pig.

A movie full of shadows: it is not only a reflection of the predecessors, but also an inspiration for future generations. After watching this film, I feel that there is an infinite lack of language; absurd and weird, worthy of a cult model.

Crazy dark musical, flirting with desire and publicity. Surprised Susan Sarandon and the Map of China...
