Clear sky, sun, sand, sea breeze, beer, grilled fish.
Going to the beach alone can be a bit lonely though, especially when you're no longer a student. When old friends all get married and have children, a seaside vacation seems to have tacitly turned into a private family event.
So this summer I found a show that was filmed on the beach and pretended to be on vacation.
This is "The Dreyers".
A single British mother brought her four children to Corfu in 1935. The story revolved around the family's life on the island. The Greek islanders they met, the British villagers who had lived on the island for many years, and Relatives and friends from all over the world who come to visit them from time to time.
Typical British family drama, each family member has their own problems and growth, and there is always a mother who can handle it all. However, the shortness of these parents in this drama is not my orientation at all. The point that attracted me to watch it this week is the various scenery on this small island.
Especially beautiful is the large platform in front of their house facing the sea.
You can smell the Mediterranean sun and sea breeze through the TV.
