Black and White Hitchcock

Released in 1938, the black-and-white film is one of Hitchcock's early films. The plot is relatively simple. Kelly, who was about to get married in London, was trapped in a small hotel down the mountain because of an avalanche. She ran into photographer Kant. .
In the car, Kelly and an elderly woman, Floyd, were accompanied and looked after each other. Kelly fell asleep in a trance after being hit on the head the night before. When she woke up, the old woman was gone. Kelly couldn't find it anywhere, so she had to call the police. Unexpectedly, everyone in the same car said that they had never seen an old woman, and Kelly, who was confused, met Kant again. Kant believed in Kelly and felt that something was wrong. The two reconciled and launched an investigation together.
I have to say, this movie is really good. First of all, the plot is very attractive. What impressed me the most was the panning shots of Kelly before and after waking up on the train. More importantly, this film is not only a suspense film, it also has an important political color, which is not uncommon in Hitchcock's films.
Later, someone remade this film, the film became color, and the performance of the actors was more vivid. I personally think it is better than Hitchcock's black and white film.
