You can reduce your carbon emissions In fact, you can reduce your carbon emissions to zero.

Buy appliances + light bulbs that use energy efficiently.

Adjust the temperature of your air conditioner (using the air conditioner timer switch function) + reduce energy use for heating + cooling.

Enhance your home's ability to survive the winter by adding insulation.

Hire an energy auditor.

Reuse.



If you can, buy a dual-purpose vehicle.

Walk and bike more when you can.

Take the light rail + public transport as much as possible.


Tell your parents not to destroy the world you will live in.

If you are a parent, go with your children to save the world they will live in!


Use renewable energy.


Call and ask if the power company offers green energy? If the answer is no, ask why not!


Pick a leader who has vowed to solve this crisis, and write to Congress! If they don't listen, go to the Congressional election!

Speak up in your community, call radio shows and write to newspapers, insist that America stop carbon dioxide emissions, join international groups against global warming, reduce demand for foreign oil, help farmers produce ethanol fuel, increase fuel Conservation measures standard, requiring cars to reduce emissions!
