Taylor is much more than what we can see in this film.
At the beginning, my classmate gave me the Amway movie. When he said it was "miss Americana", I thought it was about a certain Miss America/Mrs. America, but I never thought it was about TS. Whether I just started watching this movie, or I think about it after watching it, I always feel that a movie called "Miss America" still has a feeling that it is not enough.
In fact, Singer, one of his documentary films, is more or less said to be a white-washed film by PR. It doesn't matter. The important thing is to be called Miss/Mr. of xx country, what content he wants to express, and what relationship does this content have with this country.
There is no doubt that Taylor, as one of the most famous singers in the world, has won countless love and admiration around the world, but also has her own bitterness and misunderstanding and malicious slander. As long as it is a public figure, there must be positive and negative evaluations. My mom taught us from a young age that you can't make everyone in the world like you.
So why do we like Taylor, and why do we all listen to Taylor's songs? I think maybe it's because of what she said in the film: everyone has their own specialty, and her specialty is making music through storytelling. "Maybe sometimes, the audience is like reading my diary." Whether the inspiration comes from the ex-boyfriends who broke up or the people who hurt her, that kind of lyrics and melody that is authentic and at the same time powerful, a certain For a moment, it will indeed poke into the hearts of fans. As a musician, being able to independently compose lyrics, have a steady stream of inspiration, and be able to fully express, is a necessary but not sufficient condition for her success.
If Taylor's relationship with Miss Americana is to be said, one of them is her road to fame. It is undeniable that Taylor at the beginning was the image of a good girl loved by the American people: curly hair and blue eyes, long legs and big bones, country music, and never talk about politics easily. The realization of the American dream probably begins with the framework of self-image. In that sense, perhaps no one fits the title of miss Americana better than her.

This sense of alienation is what many celebrities always want to capture, and what fans love and look forward to.
What impresses me is that at the concert, Taylor changed from a curly girl holding a guitar tenderly to a dance partner pulling off her "armor", showing her image as confident, brave, and like a fighter. Taylor also said in the film that women's careers will gradually become unknown around the age of 35. They always have to break and reshape their images countless times, which is different from men. We always look forward to some reversals and some gossip: that person who is very good at writing songs and very talented actually has a messy private life. I heard that she is a liar, what kind of American sweetheart, but she is actually a deceiving snake... .. This is after she became famous. In the eyes of all media media, the public image created by gossip is completely opposite to her image of good girl.
Perhaps it was this kind of persecution that made Taylor and his father, after a fierce argument with the team, choose to become political opinion leaders, express bravely, and step into the political vortex with one foot. Aside from these emotional parts, I firmly believe that Taylor, Lady gaga... more artists have something more more than this, but it depends on everyone's experience. And the title of Miss Americana, as the core (title) of this documentary, does have a feeling that it is not enough.
If you let me imagine, a famous film about BTS, named "mr. korean", is a bit too much. But they can be called "Korean to the world", which may talk about the development of the Korean entertainment industry, the seven boys' dreams, their luck and misfortune, their successes and failures, their honors With infamy, their innocence.
To be honest, I think everyone deserves a documentary.
