Very popular in the twentieth century: emancipation. Rather, people are obsessed with being free from racial repression. Progressives have berated society's repression of racial minorities and women. Above all is gender emancipation - which is expected to lead to a better new world.
The novel Brave New World, roughly speaking, envisages the "glorious prospect" of gender liberation. Compared to other equally famous utopian novels, Brave New World is undoubtedly quite beautiful. Now, it has been made into an American drama that keeps pace with the times. The drama "Brave New World" has done a lot of adaptations, it looks more like a romance story, it seems a bit vulgar. However, the social setting of "gender liberation" can still be seen in it.
When many people imagine "gender liberation", they are in fact utopian and do not consider the real dilemma of social operation at all. They are not scientific. "Brave New World" declares that we must believe in science and use science and technology to liberate human beings; and without enough material wealth, how can there be a "happy" ideal society!
Progressives believe that "backward societies" place the burden of childbirth on women, leading to their oppression. According to the ugly saying: women become reproductive machines. "Brave New World" brings good news: In the future, women will no longer have to have children! Advanced biotechnology has freed women from the burden of fertility!
Racial values still think that they are reasonable, that there is no continuation of the race without fertility. However, who said the race was going to continue? How can this impede human freedom? Freedom is a higher value! Without freedom, it would be better for everyone to perish.
"Brave New World" said: Don't be so excited, have something to say. In the future society, all races will be united; human beings can survive by embryo breeding and cloning! Biotechnology liberates human beings, and "birthing children" is a barbaric and backward phenomenon. Not only were women liberated, but men were liberated from the oppression that perpetuated future generations. What a blessing!
Progressives believe that "backward societies" use the responsibility of family and educating their offspring to suppress women and keep them from working to their full potential. Brave New World solves this problem. Children are produced and nurtured by society. Women can now do the same jobs as men! Everyone belongs to other people, and everyone belongs directly to society. There is no longer a need for the "family", a social cell that represses people.
Progressives believe that a "backward society" binds women with sexual morality. "Brave New World" declares: rotten sexual morality, gone forever! People, whether male or female, or of any other gender, are free to choose their partners and to enjoy sexual pleasure freely. Moreover, no one has to be sexually bound, and they don't have to take any responsibility. If they don't like their old partner, they can change to a new partner at any time! What a blessing!
In Brave New World, love is free. Not only that, but people in civilized cities also spurn those backward sexual morals. Why should love be bound? Monogamy? It is unnatural, it is constructed by a backward society, it is a barbaric form of private property, it is an integral part of backward values. To use "love" as the basis of "monogamy" is a bourgeois lie to cover up their ugly private property. Prostitution and cheating are evidence of the kind of private ownership of couples that suppresses love.
In Brave New World, there are only savages in the savage area, and maybe there is any idea of monogamy, because they are so backward. People in civilized cities can visit the barbarian reservations, where they can see the consequences of "monogamy". Monogamy leads to jealousy, hatred, cheating, love murder... In short, there are many barbaric phenomena caused by monogamy. Personally, the presentation of this phenomenon is one of the most interesting parts of Brave New World. As for the anti-binary gender popular in recent years, the progressives of anti-gender realism argue that in the "Brave New World", it can be achieved. The quarrels, swearing and hatred surrounding these gender repressions are no longer a problem in Brave New World. Everyone no longer has to worry about who robs who's wealth, who robs who's job, and can treat each other gently.
Now, many progressives in gender liberation believe that they have enough reasons to ridicule and curse those who are backward, and have enough reasons to criticize those who are backward in gender morality. Brave New World too agrees with that. In fact, that's part of the right part of publicity in Brave New World. Could it be wrong to be full of a sense of justice and to express justice? There are still people who believe in those backward sexual morals. It's so ridiculous, and so disgusting! Those barbarians deserve to be rejected by "civilized society".
Every "civilized person" must obey a unified social morality, and every civilized person must have a social consensus full of justice. Whoever doesn't, criticizes whoever is. As it is now, the "social consensus" is to have a tolerant view of gender. Whoever appears to be "not tolerant enough" is an unreasonable "barbarian", a badass. In Brave New World, the social consensus is that people can obtain sexual satisfaction in accordance with "free love", and whoever does not admit this is an unreasonable barbarian.
What makes Brave New World even more beautiful is that civilized people will not become as barbaric as barbarians because of their "backward morality". If you feel that your emotions are at risk of "savageization", you can take a few "soma" pills. This medicine can make people instantly happy, forget those savage emotions, and immediately "civilize" again. Our contemporary, there is still a lack of this medicine, otherwise there would not be so much hatred and abuse.
Some people seem to think that Brave New World is a "dystopian" story, as if to say that it imagines a dark future society. This must be a very big misunderstanding. "Brave New World" clearly contains sufficient progressive values: the liberation of men and women, the overthrow of the oppression of men and women by race; the private ownership that caused social chaos has been cured as a disease; everyone can serve the society happily , no longer have to be exploited; social value surpasses individual value and becomes a glorious consensus.
The drama "Brave New World" links people of every urban civilization to a unified network. In this way, everyone can see what everyone else is looking at, and everyone is directly integrated into the social family. For collective happiness, "individualism" must be condemned. Everyone has to accept social consensus, why should you have different ideas. To show your difference? How ridiculous and disgusting the idea is. That is evil solipsism. Look, this kind of disgust and rejection of "solipsism" is collective hatred. To be precise, the term "solipsism" is too exaggerated to exist, because that's just "individualism".
It is very likely that some people will question whether the collective control of individuals in Brave New World is too much and hinders individual freedom. No, on the contrary, only full integration into the collective is the realistic path to individual freedom. One cannot form a society, and everyone benefits from the existence of the others, so it stands to reason that everyone belongs to everyone. This is the real rule of science. If anyone cannot accurately recognize this, then someone must be mentally ill and unscientific. This disease is called solipsism—it’s time to take medicine.
Some people may feel that there is discrimination in Brave New World. However, that is not discrimination at all. It is the attack of justice against evil, the ridicule of advanced against backwardness, and the surprise of civilization against barbarism. "Normal society" should not regard these as "discrimination". Looking at the contemporary era, progressives in Europe and the United States do this. Anyone who disobeys "public sexual correctness" and is "intolerant" in terms of gender consciousness deserves to be criticized, ridiculed, and surprised.
Brave New World already contains people's desire for "liberation" very well. Its social values hold that the goal of society is "stability and happiness". I think it should add "freedom" to make it look even more beautiful. Because usually, when it comes to "stability", people can always think of the exclusion of "freedom". Taking "stability" or "order" as a social goal is often advocated by conservatives (Youyi). What Zoe wants is freedom.
In a backward society, managers often fight against "freedom" for the sake of "stability"; or tolerate "chaos" for the sake of "freedom". Brave New World is so progressive and rich, it should be able to achieve the dual ideological goals of stability and freedom.
Brave New World uses science (primarily biotechnology) to fulfill Progressivism's thirst for liberation. If it has any shortcomings, it should be said that it does not have ubiquitous police. Perhaps it is too confident in the psychological control of society and the mutual supervision of individuals.
"Brave New World" can clearly use police and technology to make its society more stable and solid. But it deliberately retains such a major "flaw", perhaps to express that "pathological" individualistic idea. This kind of thinking can still inspire sympathy now, after all, we have not yet reached the Brave New World.
If the residents of the "Brave New World" really traveled back to the past and came to the present "barbaric age", they might make a sound of ridicule for people's self-pity.

The character setting of the drama version is very different from the original, and it does not show the potential of the novel.
