Okay sci-fi. But no surprises. The whole synopsis is a little weird, including Julianne Moore's character that I always thought was a little awkward, and Jessica Biel's character that was weird. After looking at it, I found that all the trunks are in turn serving the branches. That's what it feels like. So the whole film actually revolves around Nicolas Cage's peculiar functions, and there is nothing else that stands out. And when a sci-fi film is limited to this point, the most evaluation it can get is "OK".
