Silent film is still a relatively unique movie viewing experience. Although it is a comedy, it is not nonsensical. Some small people are helpless, and there is no deliberately exaggerated expression, just like holding a gun to force you to laugh. Funny for the sake of being funny, this is not humor. I feel that the commemorative significance of Gold Rush is greater than the value of the film. The reason is that our aesthetics are changing, and there is no professional analysis.
