Pineapple Express

The film modifies the character a bit, changing some of the inconspicuous questionable testimonies in the book to make it more conspicuous and easier for the audience to spot. Although the film is two hours long, the pace is still much faster.

I really like the soundtrack in it, especially when the train departs, it really does make people feel that a wonderful journey has begun. Then there are all kinds of footsteps, the sound of high heels, the sound of boots, all so charming. I have to say, the actresses are all so pretty. With a small mouth pouting, a serious face, a tall figure, and a hazy filter with soft bleaching, it is quiet.

The film also lacks humor:

Pineapple complains about the unpalatable food: "These skewers are of better quality than the kebab. The bottle is more distinguished than its wine."

Pineapple friend opened the back door: "Then as a director of the line, I command you to place Monsieur Poirot in what we know to be the empty berth above Mr. McQueen's number four." The privilege, in addition, Four is especially felt at the end of the sentence that strengthens the tone, + "Turn to page three hundred and ninty-four~~~")

Then, "No. I… I… I think there's a mistake. Je crois que vous avez fait une erreur." (People will speak the local language/dialect they are most familiar with hahaha)

Then faced with a certain sloppy question, a certain lower shop replied with a blank face: "It is about 10:30pm." Hahaha!

In the dining car: The pineapple friend said "You must excuse me. Mrs. Hubbard is upon us." and ran away in despair hahaha

And the scene where the lady in Car 3 found the murder weapon was changed to be funny, with a cold face haha.

Finally: After watching the train in this film, I yearn for the narrow space of the first-class room in the film, the rickety carriage, the small bedroom for one person, the snow passing by the window, the train knocking over the snowdrifts in the middle of the night A small accident, of course, the case will be avoided.

The dubbing is good, but without the complexity of the original multi-language mix, the Polo here is a neurotic and paranoid mustache who actually yells at the lady, which is not comparable to the elegant Polo in the new version. It suits me very well. In order to make Poirot choose the first answer, his anger towards the murderer is foreshadowed before the film, but I always feel that this kind of value is not very good, and the new version gives people more through Poirot's inner conflict and struggle. Think and ponder.

In general, worse than the legend. The subtitles of the version I watched are very poor, so I basically rely on listening, and it is estimated that some information is missing. But the overall feeling is that the rhythm is not so good, and there is no particular ups and downs to catch people. The seats are abundant, and the scheduling of small spaces is realized. The characters are somewhat staged, and I always feel that some of them can be digged a little more. The director himself also said that the script was difficult to film, and who would want to listen to a large section of the script without finding an all-star cast.
