Movie recommendation index: 5 points, 3 points for viewing difficulty, plot: 3 points, 60 points for comprehensive impression

First of all, this is a relatively complete gangster movie. In the logic of the storytelling, there is nothing outstanding. It is a little bit of logic. It is a simple murder case. Follow a little bit of clues. Found the killer behind the scenes, so there is no difficulty in understanding the script.

Then the film started around a woman being murdered. While investigating the case, her four adopted sons discovered that their adoptive mother had been deliberately killed by a professional killer. In the end, it was discovered that there was collusion between the gang and the black police.

Finally, the tone of this film is a typical American gangster film. The main feature is the real street fighting, and the brotherhood between the four adopted children. Because the story is not very inverted and quite satisfactory, the comprehensive recommendation is still a qualified film, not too boring. For film lovers who like American gangster culture, I still recommend it to ordinary moviegoers. That said, there is no plot that is too brain-burning, so the look and feel is pretty good.

Does this look good... The rhythm is slow, some of the performances are blunt, and the plot is cliché... I always feel that most of the evaluations are weirdly high!

It's a bit romantic. Whoever the director asks to die will die, regardless of priority.

Four Brothers quotes

  • Angel: She's the only woman that ever gave a damn. The least we can do is go bang on a few doors and see what happens. We owe her that much.

Jeremiah: So you're gonna shoot up the whole town cause y'all mad?

    Angel: Why not?

Jeremiah: C'mon, man, the people who did this are probably from the same shitty-ass streets we're from. Mom would've been the first to forgive them, and y'all know that.

  • Bobby: [after Jack is shot] Oh, come on - don't die on me, you little fairy.
