The film tells the story of a werewolf who broke the agreement to kill the villagers when the country girl Valerie planned to elope with her childhood sweetheart, causing a commotion in the town.
A long time ago, the villagers of Jianjiao Village reached an agreement with a local werewolf. The villagers were willing to sacrifice livestock to the werewolf on a full moon night, in order to obtain peace between the werewolves and the villagers. This state has been maintained for decades. However, on a blood moon night, the agile and powerful werewolf broke this agreement and killed the villager Valerie's sister.
Valerie is young, beautiful, and charming. She is in love with Peter, the tree-cutter, but her parents dislike Peter's poverty and betrothed her to Henry without Valerie's consent.
