Talking about the personal understanding of "Darkness"

The first long review was for "Darkness".

Time and space travel has always been a popular theme. In "Darkness", two feasible solutions for time and space travel are mainly involved: forming a closed loop and a parallel universe. Neither violates causality (which is what the screenwriters respect most), the former conforms to causality, the latter avoids causality, and even if the cycle is finally broken, it is an impossible event that uses time to pause to temporarily invalidate causality. But a closer look reveals that parallel universes exist only to form a more reliable closed loop. Once time and space travel occurs, a closed loop must be formed. This is the core theory of the show.

As a drama about time travel, this drama is very successful. It involves a lot of interesting settings in time travel. For example, the first time I saw the "chicken or egg" question in "Previous Destinations", in other words, give birth to yourself. The most direct one is the relationship between Ilisaba and Charlotte. I give birth to you, you give birth to me, I call you my mother, and I will call you my daughter when I grow up. The most outrageous thing is that they have lived together in a simple mother-daughter relationship for a long time, and have no idea how complicated their relationship is.

With the cycle told over the three seasons, it's not hard to see that nearly all of the characters are tragic. Characters born out of cycles are even more tragedies within tragedies. And the fairy love between Jonas and Martha is another tragedy. As a drama for the masses, it needs a core value that can be recognized by most people. The generation of cycles in the play, the protection of cycles, and the destruction of cycles are all because of "love". But these "loves" coexist with tragedies at the same time, making the whole drama more captivating and memorable. Here we will talk about Bartosz. When I first saw him, he was quite annoying. You robbed his girlfriend when his brother wasn't there? Then I saw that the love was too deep, and I didn't know Martha was his brother at the time, so I forgave him temporarily. The further back, the whole cycle fills up slowly, and even after Celia appears, I have to complain about him: why do you guys in the cycle make me Bartosz to take it with me, Martha doesn't like it? I don't care, I finally got Celia, and I died in childbirth, Gan. In the end, they all disappeared, none of them existed, and Bartosz did exist. In addition, I have to say that Hanna is really fierce. She has joined a lot of Nielsen family members. It can be said that one person created a family that spanned several generations, and gave birth to an Adam. The whole show is yours. maximum.

After watching this drama, I also thought of a humble opinion: when science develops to a certain extent, it becomes philosophy. Therefore, since this play is about time travel, the science involved is no longer a point of science in the traditional sense. Most of it uses philosophical theories instead of scientific theories. The only quantum theory mentioned is also the most philosophical. The "Schrödinger's cat", I don't understand philosophy here so I won't delve into it.

In general, this show satisfies part of my imagination about time travel, even people who don't understand it will find it good-looking. That's what makes this show great. The scriptwriter's plot concept and the director's shooting technique really made me addicted. The performance of the actors is also remarkable. Finally, at the end of Scatter Flowers, this is the best German drama I've ever watched.
