hopeless, as it should be

There is no exit in this city, and everyone seems to end up in the same place. As an old Italian proverb said, no matter what way you go in this world, you will end up in a very fucking Rome. The film values space more than time, because only bad enough people are eligible to grow old. We saw tall buildings, saw guests at banquets, and saw buildings collapse, but it didn't take long. As early as Alexander's time, the most popular thinker in this country was Epicurus. Hedonism prevailed. If the wealth was not squandered, it would not be his own. Because it was going to war at any time, it would easily happen that there was no next meal after this meal. ; The same is true of Gomorrah of Zero Zero Generation. Once all the good is always dissipated in an instant, you will slowly fall in love with the few things that never change.

I'm not going to lie to you about everything that happens here, but after seeing it, I even feel that Gomorrah is too ugly to produce such a beautiful movie. The film starts with a gimmicky character setting, like those teenagers who idolize Tony Montana, but the subsequent episodes are not entertaining at all, and the sense of photographic documentary is extremely strong. Each of the five leads is full of desires and contradictions, the former stemming from a desire to belong, and the latter stemming from complete boredom, but it also avoids immersing the audience too deeply. Different from the "Godfather"-style Sicilian Mafia, the shots aimed at Naples Sque Mora calmly complete the disenchantment of the romantic gangster theme, the children don't know Francisco Pola, only know Brian De Palma. These from the first shot, we can see that it is an all-encompassing flood beast.

Toto was only thirteen years old, but what he went through has to happen to every young man alive. The black hole-like muzzle was right in front of him. When asked, "Are you afraid?", the gun rang after the answer. The second time the muzzle came back, it was the same question. This time, the answer was "Afraid." After the smoke cleared, he stood up again—this is the rite of passage here. Many people want to live, but even this demand requires you to trade things. If you don't understand this rule, you are also one of the potential enemies. Cold sweat may soak your legs like urine, simple people repeatedly expose corpses on street corners and buildings, and violence and crime have no beauty at all. With an out-of-life slogan that says "everything will get better", it actually starts to get bad first, and you can't wait for it to get better. The story is hopeless, as it should be.

Many times other hopeless films kill these people to stimulate your empathy with their vulgar cruelty, but here you can see some kind of more alienating structure and start thinking about what is already there thing. Obviously, the death of these people is an absolute nightmare for them, but others are just barely surviving by virtue of their death, like a thrown peach, which is one of the few orders in an already aging chaos. Violence is just violence, it is nothing but violence. Death is more than just death, it's just a moment of stillness among the particles that spread out or interact with each other in eternal vibrations. We can see this from the last few shots.
