back to black

British music magazine NME named Amy Winehouse the worst-dressed artist of the year.

Then Karl Lagerfeld arranged Chanel's big show with her honeycomb head and cat eye makeup as inspiration in the early autumn of 2008. I think Chanel is very cool, "Fashion is never stagnant, but courageous." So I can understand that Chanel launched the same style of Meng Wanzhou's ankle bag. It's not trying to satirize Meng Wanzhou, Huawei, or China. Instead, I think Meng Wanzhou is cool as a pioneering woman. It deserves to be respected as a fashion label.

The first time I noticed Amy Winehouse was when I read entertainment magazines in high school and knew she was playing reporters. Never seen such an artist. At least not in China, I thought it was cool, so I tried to listen to her music. That was my early days with the Jazz. Later, I felt that I couldn't stop falling in love with her music. I listened to all kinds of jazz all the time in college, and in my senior year, I felt like I had to have one of her albums. So I bought her "back to black" when I went to the Drum Tower in Beijing.

She died of an alcohol overdose at the age of twenty-seven, but before that she basically achieved Fortune and fame in the social sense. She can afford her enormous talent, but not so much fame.

Just watched her documentary Amy. I knew it when the documentary first came out. But it has been put on hold in his movie list. Because I was afraid I would be too sad to see it. Today belongs to the courage to watch.

She's a maverick, cool, and deeply depressed due to childhood family problems. While alive, he has been consumed and entertained by society and degraded.

She is a very pure and real girl.

You can lift Erlang's legs so high during the interview, or you can pick your mouth while being interviewed.

You can also wear a pair of torn shoes, and your clothes are full of holes and you can just mess around. I like her even more after watching the documentary.

Really talented and talented to work with or be friends with such top musicians in less than 30 years old. For example: Mark Ronson, Tony Bennett, Mos def, the roots.

When I was young, I had an unfortunate family environment. When I grew up, it was not so easy to go from the initial stage of creation to the peak of creation.

Thanks for your hard work. Ugh.

Amy quotes

  • Yasiin Bey: I became aware of Amy in 2004. I'm a big jazz fan and I really liked what she was doing. I thought it was unique, I thought it was edgy. And sincere. And that's the thing I like most about Amy. She didn't have any airs. She was real... She was just a charming, sweet lady. I had a bit of a crush on her, to be honest. She was raw, she was fast with a blue joke, could drink anybody under the table, wasn't afraid to roll a smoke. Had a big, giant laugh, and was just a sweetheart, you know?

  • Amy Winehouse: Success to me is not success to the record company or whoever. Success to me is having the freedom to work with whoever I want to work with, to always be able to go to the studio when I have to go to the studio... I think the more people see of me, the more they'll realize that all I'm good for is making tunes. So leave me alone and I'll do it. I will do the music. I just need time to do the music.
