Zunlong - The Godfather of Chinatown

One more star for Zunlong's domineering sideshow Chinatown Godfather. I didn't expect to enter Zunlong's pit in 2020. He won my favorite actor of the past twenty years.

Aside from the hasty and sloppy ending of the film, the male protagonist plays the police like a gangster in various derailment plots. Focus on Mr. Zunlong's performance and plot.

It is rumored that the image of Hong Kong's gangster movie bosses was modeled after Mr. Zunlong, with his hair combed and a suit, his aura was 2.8 meters. This is a movie from the 1980s, and it can be seen that the later Hong Kong movies do have the shadow of this movie.

As for the plot, it is really very weak, but it can be seen that the plot of Zunlong is imitated by the TV series or movies made in Hong Kong later. For example, the gang boss kicked out the hall and took power himself, while Zunlong provoked himself but framed other gangs. Go to negotiate DP with the army and cut off the head of the competitor beforehand. The most terrifying thing is condolences to the younger brother who works for him. One minute before he asks if his leg hurts, and the next minute he tells the other subordinates that the place is dirty and needs to be cleaned up. Then he killed his younger brother. These plots all show that the Godfather of Chinatown played by Mr. Zun Long is a gentle and ruthless person on the surface.

He can send someone to kill the younger brother who worked for him in the previous plot, and in the latter plot is to arrange for an aunt to study for her daughter, and gently instruct her to study hard so as not to disappoint her mother. Really like a good elder. Then, seeing the police change their faces to coerce and induce bribes, the police refused to agree and immediately turned their faces and said ruthlessly.

It's just that the Godfather of Chinatown, who was so good at the front, died too hastily at the end? That's it? Um? Funny? Why didn't he run back to shoot each other with the male cop? This is completely because the male protagonist has the aura of the protagonist to win, okay?

Although the film is controversial, Long Ge was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor and was the first Chinese actor to be nominated. In the 1990s, Brother Long was a person who earned more than one million US dollars in an advertisement in Japan, and finally returned to China and was tricked into filming a TV series and left the scene sadly. Really saddened. Obviously he can have a better future and development in Hollywood.

I wish Mr. Zunlong a prosperous rest of his life. He really is a philosopher. When I saw his interview, I was moved to tears by his experience and philosophy. A person who admires from the inside out. As he said, he doesn't care about slander and malice towards him. He has food to eat, a place to live and is satisfied. The world has been kind to him.
