It's just that I have no resistance to this kind of alien sci-fi film, so I still watch it with such a low rating. I don't know why it's called "Satellite", it's obviously a little monster movie~
Let’s talk about the advantages first: the visual effects are very good, and the little monsters that stick to it are very realistic? The cold and hard feeling of green and blue in the overall tone is indeed quite “Cold War”, a bit like “The Shape of Water”! The atmosphere of the soundtrack is also in place. The lens design also feels very precise. In short, in terms of hardware, everything is very professional and high-level. So much so that when I watch Russian movies, I always wonder if there is a problem with the translation... I always look at it and don't know what the logic is?
The astronaut brought back a little monster parasitic in his body from space, and he still lost his memory. The heroine was brought to study what was going on, and was asked by the boss to separate them. However, the heroine found that the two were actually symbiotic, not parasitic, and had to go to Moscow to study. The bosses don't want to, and they will be destroyed if they can't be separated. Anyway, they can't go to Moscow. But the heroine already had a relationship with the astronaut, so she secretly told him about the research. As a result, the male protagonist also had a showdown with the female protagonist. In fact, he did not have amnesia, but had already merged with this monster. If he had said it earlier, he would have been directly destroyed, but he also wanted to see his son who was sent to the orphanage. So the heroine began to take him to escape, and the boss led his troops to intercept him. The little monster slaughtered the Quartet, the big guy and the little monster lost both, and finally caught the heroine. In order to save the heroine, the astronaut made the little monster break out again. In the end, he himself knew that it was hopeless to be separated from the little monster, so he shot himself after the little monster returned to his body. After the hostess returned, he adopted his son.
I understand that's probably what it means. I have to say that Russian movies are quite mind-blowing. The little monster feeds on cortisol, and has to scare the prey before blowing the head, which is inexplicably cute. The female protagonist is also a scorpion, and she doesn't know anything about little monsters, so she dares to let people open the protective door without protection... This psychological quality is tsk tsk tsk. Just watch it as a popcorn movie.
