Synopsis
Late one night, a morgue security guard suddenly ran out of the morgue screaming and walking through the woods.
Eventually, he was hit by a passing car or two and was seriously injured.

First of all, this Spanish film "The Mystery of the Female Corpse" is two completely different films from the 2016 British film "The Unknown Female Corpse". The former is suspenseful and the latter is more of horror. In the process of watching this movie, I found that both the plot and the story structure are very similar to the well-received "Invisible Guest" , so I looked at the director, and it was the same person, obviously "Invisible Guest" A large part of the idea of the story in "Guest" comes from this film, and the production and plot setting are better than this film.
Oriol Paul is really an amazing person. I admire him for making up such a "tortuous" script. However, compared to "The Invisible Guest", this "The Female Corpse Mystery" is still a little green, and there are also loopholes. More, especially some unreasonable plots, giving people a feeling of bloody and nonsense.
One scene left a deep impression on me, that is, the male protagonist found a letter in the toilet. I don't want to say whether the content of the letter has a necessary relationship with whether he committed a crime or not, but he said that his subsequent actions really stunned me. There was a window almost parallel to his head. It was pouring rain outside, but he chose to take the torn letter out of the toilet and eat it... I think the most successful part of the film is the story structure, which can be said to be exactly the same as "The Invisible Guest", which means that the well-received subtle structure in "The Invisible Guest" has long been reflected in this film. The film uses the lost female corpse as an entry point, uses an interlude to lead to the cause of the case, and then forms a big reversal of the plot at the end, which is hearty.
However, compared to "The Invisible Guest", the story of this film is obviously more difficult to establish, and the foreshadowing and details are too deliberate, such as the sudden insertion of the male police officer's past, and a lot of smoking scenes, I think normal people will find some of them. The problem, so the reversal at the end is not so shocking, and it is also revenge. The means used in "The Invisible Guest" is relatively more reasonable, and this film is a bit fake, I will not spoil the specifics. .
Having said so much, it's not that this movie is bad, but that it has more room for improvement than the director's later works, but at least its exquisite structure and tight rhythm are excellent. I think friends who like "The Invisible Guest" should also like this film, because it covers all the elements that a suspense film should have .
