1. What is love? Not something to talk about all day. For the athletes in the plot, when you hold a basketball in your hand, you feel that the entire court is a battlefield where you can swing freely. This is love.
But it's a very challenging thing to love one thing and devote yourself to it. For example, some people want to go to school and work part-time to supplement their family, so they will have a choice in chasing the career they love, and may even give up the career they love because of the pressure of reality.
So, if there is such an opportunity for you to do what you love unscrupulously, then you must put in 100% of your efforts.
2. When there is no choice, people will be desperate. If it is not forced by life, people will not be crazy about one thing.
So, it's a good thing to choose too much unseen. Most of the people in the film are children of poor families with few choices, but this does not prevent them from eventually succeeding.
We are fortunate that they have a good coach, a good life mentor. If these kids hadn't met this coach, their lives would have been different.
3. The environment plays a very important role in our life, and this role directly leads to what kind of person a person can eventually become.
We are prejudiced and discriminated against. When we bow our heads to such prejudice and discrimination, it means that we acquiesce to the rules set by the few.
It does take courage to face adversity, but if no one stands up and defends it with action, then ultimately prejudice, like genes, runs in the blood of every generation.
4. Parents' support for their children is the biggest source of motivation for a child to eventually become strong, but in real life, we often see that many parents are more suspicious, abusive, and even humiliating to their children.
If you change your thinking, you may get different results if you encourage it more. But if life itself is difficult, it is difficult to have an atmosphere of encouragement in this living environment.
Education is really the only way for poor children to change their destiny. Don't believe in the so-called theory that reading is useless. We do not deny that some people who do not go to school have achieved success in the worldly sense.
But focusing too much on extreme cases can end up ruining a child's future. Therefore, in the face of children's education, in the end, we can only listen to the words of the majority, refer to the opinions of a few people, and finally make our own decisions.
5. Family is the cornerstone of a man's career, not the other way around. No matter how successful you end up being, family members will never worry about your honor and money, but about your health and happiness.
