What is the story about?

What is the Wall State? Is it a mapping of the real world?

It's a pity, it's not!

The Wall State is an order, a distribution rule.

In the real world, all substances are produced by humans. Production and distribution are one. People produce everything, and all distribution systems are just vassals attached to production.

In a walled country, there is no production or very little production. All order is only controlled and distributed. This is part of real life.

1. About ideals

What is Sam's ideal? Everyone is divided, so how can the army of the wall country be maintained? A weak and powerless authority will only be replaced by other authorities. This order is just an illusion. (See Brazilian gangsters for details)

2. About the hole

What is a hole? Free? So is the real world free? Hole means this productivity, and risk. A risk of falling apart, the cornerstone of Sam's rights. The same is true in real life. Productivity achieves the right to maintain their stability, and it is also the risk of their right to collapse.

3. About the theme

Nihilism of course! Satire everything without any useful advice

(See Italian Five Star Movement for details)

The core of the story is still the taste of rm, everything is false, why take it seriously!

Solar Opposites quotes

  • Korvo: [Opening Narration] Planet Shlorp was a perfect utopia. Until the asteroid hit. One hundred adults and their replicants were issued a Pupa and escaped into, uh, the space, searching for new homes on uninhabited worlds. We crashed on Earth, stranding us on an already overpopulated planet. That's right, I've been talking this whole time. I'm the one holding the Pupa. My name's Korvo. This is... this is my show. I just dropped the Pupa. Do you see me? This is ridiculous. I hate Earth. It's a horrible home. People are stupid.
