In fact, what impressed me the most was an inconspicuous detail; during the family photo, Phyllis put on a sweater and told Sister Banana that she had taken off the blanket for the child, and it was hot. Then she wore the sweater all the time, and when she finally took it off, she was drenched in sweat. It's not that she doesn't know or doesn't feel it, it's just that it's in her interest to do so. So she's not stupid, she's bad. (But I agree that she does this, and in a sense, it also promotes the awakening of housewives' self-awareness, although it is not her intention.

    The scene in this show so far (episode 3) that gives me the most goosebumps is when the pro-ERA (Equal Rights Amendment) women (mostly young unmarried women) team and the anti-ERA housewives team are on opposite stairs. They turned their heads and stared at each other, and at that moment they had to think about what split them, who shared a common destiny, to such a degree. But on second thought, what does it matter, as long as they all realize that women need to stand up and speak out for their own interests, realize the necessity of women's participation in politics, realize the importance of power, even if it is a staircase in different directions , as long as you go up, you will reach the same place at the end. The fight is not about Equality. It's about Power
