Desperate to try this sentence, can give the characters in the play,
It can also be given to screenwriters, directors, actors outside the play, and fans who have innocently lost a lot of brain cells.
I really liked the tone of the show, although by the end of the second season it was getting a little tired.
I would also be interested in seeing another desperate attempt at the subject.
Sometimes I even expect the screenwriter to really give a different answer.
But it must have been more than that.
So far I can only give Samsung. If the third season does come up with a horrible plot ending, I'll change it to five stars right away. (It is not an exaggeration to change it to fifty stars)
What is appalling, that is, the plot in which "destiny is changed" + "reasonable" both satisfy the situation.
It seems simple, but in fact this is simply a "desperate attempt".
◇Time travel
Time Travel is a Pandora's Box of science fiction. After the scientific theory reaches a certain level, the more serious science fiction works are rarely involved.
There are three types in total.
1. Parallel worlds.
This is the type that best accords with scientific theory and common sense. A world will be divided after time travel, there is no grandfather paradox. There are many works of this type, the most familiar ones are "Dragon Ball", various comics and so on.
But because the past can't be changed under this setting (only another world is changed), so there is no actual meaning to travel around time, that is to say, there is no drama. This setting is not even a real time travel.
2. Fatalism
Under this theory, everything is written, and you are a part of the past when you travel back to the past. Nothing can be changed, and everything will be the same as what has happened.
This setting is basically in line with scientific theory and common sense, avoiding the grandfather paradox. The film "Previous Destination" based on a science fiction novel can be described as representative. The only thing that is more difficult to understand with common sense is that there will be situations such as "chicken and egg" and "I gave birth to myself" without a starting point.
The biggest problem with this setting is that nothing can be changed, which is relatively powerless. Except for the first few works that are creative, the subsequent similar themes are of little significance.
3. Turned into light and disappeared
This is the most suitable setting for commercial expression.
But it is also the most frivolous and least rigorous setting.
In this setting, when you're about to hack your dad (or about to attract your mom) you kind of disappear.
Ahem, after a certain time node is changed, everything that was tragic in the past will become light and disappear, and time will be rewritten.
This is a form that is easier for the masses to understand and love to see. Of course, it is also full of paradoxes and philosophical traps, so it must be avoided.
From the classic "Back to the Future", "The Butterfly Effect", to the recent "Your Name" and "Want to See You", there are many such topics.
The most intuitive one of the philosophical traps here is: if the past has changed, are those who experienced the past even killed? You change the tragedy through time, and you also kill the person who experienced the tragedy and grew up to the present. yourself, and all your companions.
The exception is the male protagonist of the Butterfly Effect, who can remember every memory, not counting being killed. But other characters other than him are constantly being wiped out.
◇To sum up the above
All three types of time travel are imperfect.
No matter what the ending depends on, the audience cannot be satisfied.
Although people from other worlds appeared in the end, the setting of the first two seasons is undoubtedly not a traditional parallel setting. According to the setting of the parallel world, every time you travel to another world, it is difficult to explain the relationship between Mick and Jonah, let alone Isabella being a mother and daughter.
Diablo is definitely attributable to fatalism at present. So far it's all fatalistic. If this is the case in the end, it has to be said that the dogs were fed during these three seasons. If one season or even one movie is enough to make it clear, I have to talk about three seasons, and the rating of 3 stars cannot be more.
Not to mention turning into light, if the past changes and becomes a good future, these people in the past will disappear after completing their tasks... The whole style can be described as a thousand miles away.
All three paths are impassable.
The screenwriter either gives a fourth way that does not exist yet, and basically justifying it is enough to congratulate the gods.
Or make a mess of things like a parallel world compatible with the two modes of shuttle in this world, and it can be considered a four-star masterpiece.
