This is a masterpiece by director Akira Kurosawa. Many people have analyzed it, so I will talk about my own feelings. The music in the film is very characteristic - it has the charm of Japanese drums, the strikes are powerful and short, or it sets off the tense plot, or it sets off the free and easy skills and attitude of Juurou. I think the first half of the film is better, the development of the plot and the close-up of the characters, etc.; in the second half, the stamina is a little lacking, and the rhythm suddenly feels slower, but fortunately a particularly strong ending is made up again. I guess the later Hong Kong martial arts films borrowed a lot of these techniques. This is a film that needs to be enjoyed often, and I will supplement myself on the basis of this article in the future.
