To say that the movie is a ghost movie, I prefer to understand it as a psychological thriller. All clues have become a perfect closed loop. The following is just a personal interpretation: 1. The ghosts in the film are all projections of guilt and resentment in people's hearts. If I remember correctly, there are four ghost pictures 1) The hand opening the door of the sister's room; that is the subconscious of the mother's dead mother who is divided into the sister's personality and is projected. 2) The ghost that my sister met in her dream in the early morning, there are dreams in dreams, first there are some flashing jump cuts, the middle-level sees a figure similar to her mother and calls her sister to leave here, it should be that the mother does not want to see sinking in the essence The daughter in wanted to awaken her desire. Then there are ghost images, and blood runs down the inner thighs, and menstruation means the sister's fear of adulthood. 3) The ghost under the sink that my aunt saw at the family gathering should be a reflection of the self-blame mentality of not saving my sister in reality. In the same scene, the older sister, who is divided into her younger sister personality, saw the ghost in the green skirt. Note that the ghost that my sister saw here did not have a scary face, but only gently reminded her that her sister was dead. 4) The ghost in the wardrobe that the stepmother saw at the end should be the projection of guilt for not saving her sister out of jealousy.
2. In the end, my understanding is that the stepmother is mostly dead. Back at the beginning of the film, the doctor took out the family photo and asked my sister that you should know the most about the events of the day. You are still there, and it should be some investigation into the cause of the death of the stepmother.
3. At the beginning of the film, my sister showed her palm prints by the lake after getting off the car. After watching it for a long time, she showed a surprised expression because it was my sister's imagination, and what she saw should be blank palm prints.
4. In the end, the plaster that my sister moved was like a shape covering her eyes, which contrasted with her unwillingness to face reality.
