The smile of Mona Lisa, a must-see movie for women

I don't remember how long I watched a touching love movie and couldn't cry. It's rare that I saw Mona Lisa's smile today, and at the end when the students sent the teacher to the teacher, I even shed tears.

The actors are all familiar faces, which is very embarrassing I can't name her...

Juliet Roberts, and the second female lead is played by the female assistant in the house. It's cool. I especially like her little tiger teeth.

The second male is almost the third male . Mian's male protagonist, if I remember correctly. And the white-headed man in Desperate Housewives.

I haven't mentioned the plot until now. It's a simple and complicated story. A woman in the 1950s fights for her status. The protagonist is for love I am very moved by the attitude of women's status. Shaking the tradition of conservative Wesleyan Girls' School with her own bravery.

I don't know when I saw this movie and said that this movie is one of the must-see movies for women. It is almost skeptical I went to see it, but I was deeply moved.

A weak woman who dared to challenge the traditional atmosphere and authority of society. I am afraid that there are not many today.

The teacher played by Julia Roberts teaches art history in college. In the course, she knows that Wesleyan School is a traditional college, and she wants to use her own strength to change. In class, she educates her students not to be slaves to marriage, and strives for women's own status and development. In the end, she won the respect of the students.

Maybe the society will not completely change anything because of this one teacher, one school or those dozens of students. But at least, some people are working hard. They are fighting for their rights and the equality and freedom of this society.

To be honest, I didn't understand the basic plot, it's a very ordinary movie, it doesn't hurt or itchy~

"Mona Lisa's Smile" can be said to be the female version of "Dead Poets Society" in terms of plot settings. However, after digging deeper, it is still slightly worse than "Dead Poets Society". Even so, in terms of education, the two films still have many similarities. They also adhere to their own ideals and beliefs, opening up another world for students!

Mona Lisa Smile quotes

  • [about Charlie Stewart]

Connie Baker: We spent last weekend at the Cape! A little hideaway he knew about.

Betty Warren: Operative word, 'hide'. Men take women to the Cape in the winter when they're embarrassed to be seen with them. He's using you.

Giselle Levy: He's not using you if you want to go. Come here, don't listen to her.

Betty Warren: I love you, and I swear I'm not saying this to hurt you. Charlie's promised to Deb McIntyre. She wears his pin. Giselle, you know it's true.

Giselle Levy: I don't know anything about a pin.

Connie Baker: Are her parents named Phillip and Vanessa?

    Betty Warren: You know them?

Connie Baker: Only from a distance.

  • Betty Warren: Have you seen Spencer?

Connie Baker: [in tears] No. But I did see Charlie Stewart. And he told me that he and Deb broke up last summer. And you told me that they were together when he invited me to the Cape.

Betty Warren: Oh Connie, I don't keep track of his dates. They've been on-again, off-again for the past few years.

Connie Baker: No, no apparently they've been off-again for a while. For quite a while.

    Betty Warren: So?

Connie Baker: So you made me believe that he was hiding me! Either way, why couldn't you let me be happy?
