An excellent film, derived from its truth. Because only truth can bring us in. We can just enjoy the story without thinking about anything else.
The global anti-racism movement has not died down until now. The story of being persecuted everywhere because of different births is still being played out in a corner of the world. Twelve Years a Slave is still vivid in my mind, and I can feel the humiliation suffered by those who were persecuted, and resistance is the only way.
It is because of this background that when I watched this movie, I had "empathy" with the starring Harry Potter, and I could feel his inner firmness and courage to sacrifice everything for freedom. The film is also vaguely a bit of the shadow of "The Shawshank Redemption". I can feel the tension and excitement of escape from the main actor's breath.
How to say, yearning for freedom is human instinct. The struggle for freedom has staged countless epic stories in human history. Whether it is earth-shattering or far-reaching, it should be remembered by each of us.
I don't know why this movie only has a 7.6 rating. In my mind, it's at least 8.3 because it's real.
