On the side of heaven near here
There is a place called Rainbow Bridge
when an animal dies
If she's deeply loved by someone here
she will go to the rainbow bridge
There are meadows and hills
Let our dear friends
run and play together
The sun is shining and the grass is fertile
Our friends live warm and cozy days
All those who have been afflicted by disease and old age
restored health and vitality
those injured or disabled
healthy and strong again
as in our dreams
in those days gone by
as they were
They are happy and happy
There is only one small deficiency
Each of them misses someone
the one special to her
but had to be left behind
They run and play together all day
until one day
One of them suddenly stopped
staring into the distance
Her bright eyes became eager
Her longing body began to tremble
Suddenly she strayed from the group and started running
Running across the grass faster and faster
she saw you!
You and your beloved friend finally meet
You hug and never separate again
She happily keeps licking your face
Your hand strokes her head again
You can look into her eyes again
eyes full of trust
Although it has been lost for so long
But never leave your heart for a moment
Then
You cross that rainbow bridge together
