after watching

I read it for the adaptation of a world famous book. Another inspiring story of wanting to join the upper class. There are quite a few such stories, especially since they have become world famous. As far as this film is concerned, I think the male protagonists and supporting actors are quite handsome. The heroine is average, but it is too ordinary to look at it carefully for a long time.

However, it is a little different from what I thought. Although the heroine loves vanity, she has not completely given up her dignity, at least not like Madame Bovary. The hatred in my heart was not so strong. In pursuit of a noble title can be desperate. Do people live for the sake of fame and fortune?

Think carefully about the meaning of life.

The heroine's performance is really good, but I can't stand the director, who seems to be Indian. But of course I don't object to your director being Indian, but you don't have to show it everywhere in the film... It seems that Ang Lee doesn't have to make Jake and Heath wear Tang suits when they pat the broken back.
