How would life go on if the memory was only fifteen minutes

When you only have fifteen minutes of memory, you will not only forget the person you love the most, but even yourself. I don't know who I am, where I came from, where I am going, or even whether the environment I am in is safe or dangerous. How should your life go on in this situation? Perhaps in the eyes of many people, life in this situation is like broken glass, and there is no possibility of continuing. But in the movie "Unknown Death", you will find that even if the memory is only fifteen minutes, life is not only not broken, but the short memory is like a pearl on a necklace, shining. And what wears these pearls is either a tenacious will or a deep love. And Sanjay, the male protagonist in Death Unknown, has both. As a person with only fifteen minutes of memory, the first problem is how to remember. The method used by Sanjay is very simple, which is to write down the things to remember on paper, or to take pictures with a camera. The camera has a reminder function every fifteen minutes so Sanjay can stop and record something important. After a night of sleep, he forgets everything, and his home becomes a completely foreign place. Fortunately, the place was full of cue words telling him where to put what, what to remember, and what to do. In the bathroom, he took off his clothes as instructed. In the mirror, he saw the words tattooed on his body: "Kalpana was killed" and "Who is West investigates Sanjay's identity. In a drawer, the officer found Sanjay's diary. Through this diary, the police officer learned another identity of the murderer, another past event. West investigates Sanjay's identity. In a drawer, the officer found Sanjay's diary. Through this diary, the police officer learned another identity of the murderer, another past event.

Different from the violent and bloody reality, the past is warm and romantic, as beautiful as a fairy tale. Sanjay was born in a famous family, and he was in charge of Lingyin Telecom, India's largest telecommunications company, when he was less than 30 years old. It can be said that he is a complete aristocrat. More importantly, Sanjay is still a single dog. If Sanjay is compared to a prince, then the heroine can be regarded as a Cinderella. Cinderella is an ordinary working class. She is a third-tier advertising model in a third-rate advertising company, and she appears in the camera almost as a group performer. The prince and Cinderella's status is very different, they belong to two different classes, but an accidental chance makes the two linked together.

To promote the company's business, Lingyin Telecom decided to put up a billboard on the roof of Kalpana's house. To this end, Lingyin Telecom's employees came to Kalpana's work place to talk to her in detail. The move was misunderstood by Kalpana's bosses and colleagues as Sanjay was pursuing Kalpana, and Kalpana's refusal to erect billboards was also misinterpreted as Kalpana rejecting Sanjay's pursuit. Whether it was for the company's development or Kalpana's personal happiness, the boss and colleagues persuaded Kalpana to accept Sanjay's unwarranted pursuit. Unable to persuade the boss and colleagues, Kalpana called and agreed. It soon became the headline of the day, and the whole world knew about it, but Sanjay didn't. To untie the bell, the bell has to be tied. In order to quell the storm, Kalpana must come forward to clarify the facts. So, Sanjay went to find Kalpana for an interview, but he didn't want to fall in love with Kalpana at first sight. Not only did he not say anything, but he was mistaken by Kalpana as an advertising male model.

In this way, the two models in the advertising world planted the seeds of friendship. Under the irrigation of time, the seeds of friendship grow vigorously and slowly grow into the appearance of love. On New Year's Eve, Sanjay finally confessed to the heroine. The heroine hesitated to give an answer next year. Did the heroine agree with Sanjay's confession?

The film does not give the answer directly, but returns to reality again. In order to find the answer to the question, the officer began to search for a second diary. Before opening it, Sanjay woke up. Realizing that he was bound, Sanjay immediately burst into a frenzy, broke free from the restraint, and scolded the police officer without saying a word. At this point, he completely sees the police as an enemy. For the enemy, there is only one word: kill! Just when Sanjay was about to kill, Lingyin Telecom employees came to conduct a routine check on him. After the check, it was 15 minutes early. Sanjay completely forgot that he was going to kill a policeman, but he could never forget to kill his enemy Ghajini, because he set an alarm to remind him. According to previous clues, Ghajini will participate in a school's campus culture festival as the guest of honor. At the campus culture festival, Sanjay met Ghajini for the first time, a philanthropist who appeared to be a philanthropist but was actually a murderous demon. Somehow, Sanjay mistook Ghajini's men for him. After this, Ghajini learned that someone was looking for revenge, so he launched a bloodbath operation and killed all possible enemies. If we can't understand the reason for Sanjay's previous revenge action, but from Ghajini's bloodbath action, we can roughly understand that Ghajini is a lot of evil and belongs to the kind of people who should be killed. Ghajini led his men to execute many people, which still did not reassure him because these people were afraid of him. As he struggles to find Sanjay, Sunita, a medical student, finds Ghajini and reveals Sanjay's revenge plan to him. It turned out that in order to study Sanjay's condition, Sunita went to Sanjay's house specially, so she discovered everything about Sanjay. Sanjay is unaware of the reversal of the situation and continues with the original plan of revenge. An arm can't twist a thigh, a gentleman can't fight a villain. What's more, there are some onlookers who don't know the truth helping the villain.

Soon, Sanjay lost the fight. Under pressure from the police, Ghajini did not kill Sanjay, but he took a more brutal approach: depriving Sanjay of his memory.

Sanjay's home was destroyed and so was his tattoo. Since then, Sanjay has become a person with no memory. Previously, I could not understand why this movie was called "Death Unknown", but when I saw Sanjay, who had no memory, sitting on the hospital bed with empty eyes, I understood: There are two kinds of human death, one is the body, The other is spiritual. Physical death is obvious, but spiritual death is inaudible. When Sanjay's memory is erased, the spirit dies, and all that remains is an empty shell: not knowing who he is, not knowing what he wants to do. Nietzsche said: "Most of the spirits die before the body." From this, I have a question: Can only those who remember fifteen minutes die mentally? If the average person does not review it specially, he will forget the newly remembered things after a few days, so will the average person also suffer from mental death?

I think the answer is YES! Just like Sanjay, who lost his memory, doesn't know that his spirit is dead, ordinary people will forget it. Look at how many people in the world are aimless; look at how many people in the world have empty eyes; look at how many people in the world can only repeat. The body of these people is alive, but the spirit is dead. The body can be repaired and the spirit can be reborn. In the second half of the film, through Sanjay's other diary, medical student Sunita learns about Sanjay's love past and finds out the truth about Kalpana's murder. It turned out that two years ago, during a trip, Kalpana undoubtedly cracked a case of abducting and trafficking a girl, and the boss of the trafficker behind it was Ghajini. So Ghajini resorted to brutal revenge, killing Kalpana and beating Sanjay into someone with fifteen minutes of memory.

When Sunita learned the truth of the matter, she suddenly realized that she had done a big mistake. In order to make up for the mistake, Sunita told Sanjay everything, reawakened Sanjay's memory, and then rekindled Sanjay's spirit. Like Hollywood movies, Sanjay fought fiercely and finally killed the murderer, but unlike Hollywood movies, Sanjay didn't have the slightest joy in his heart, only endless grief. When he swung down the iron rod, there was no hatred in his heart, there was only love for Kalpana. On the surface, "Death Unknown" tells the story of Sanjay's revenge for his wife, but in fact it tells the poignant love between Sanjay and the heroine Kalpana. People often say, "Great love is always about death." But I'd say, "Greater love is beyond life and death." Kalpana died and Sanjay only had fifteen minutes of memory. But in this case, Kalpana has always lived in Sanjay's heart, and strung Sanjay's broken memories into a pearl necklace.

For many people, Death Unknown is a romance, or a revenge film, but for me, it's a film about how the mind stays alive. Sanjay relies on his love for Kalpana to link his only fifteen minutes of memory together. But is it really the fifteen minutes of memory that matter? Everyone's memory has time, and everyone forgets. In other words, we are just Sanjay with a slightly better memory, but our memory is still fragmented, and our spirit can still wither at any time. Just like a popular saying on the Internet: "Many people die at the age of 25, and only enter the ground at the age of 80." After watching this movie, maybe you can discover how to connect your fragmented memories and how to make yourself spiritual rebirth.
