I admire the film's ability to produce such a non-trivial film and television story that is difficult to describe in words. In the evening, I originally wanted to choose a lighthearted and pleasant film, but I watched such a film that was neither light nor unpleasant. The simple and firm friendship of the two teenagers is enviable, and the unusual pursuit and ideals of the Birdman are destined to be unusual. If Birdman grows smoothly, gets the affirmation and support of the family social school, and turns his whimsical ideas into reality, will there be a genius ornithologist or a genius aerospace expert in the world? Such a sensitive and fragile youth who yearns for freedom and loves living beings cannot accept the slaughter and cruelty of war no matter what, and retreats back to his dream world - becoming a bird becomes his self-liberation and redemption. In the process of summoning the Birdman brothers to return to the real world, Al was also deeply tormented by the post-war traumatic syndrome. Such a sunny, cheerful, sports-loving, and enthusiastic youngster, he was also very concerned about the destruction of countless youthful lives. The meaningless war, the unreasonable world that regards individual destiny like a wild dog, loses hope and enthusiasm, and recognizes that only madness is the resistance against the reality of madness.
It is natural to think of a famous story in ancient China: Zhuangzi dreams of a butterfly. "Zhuang Zhou's dream is a butterfly, and Zhuang Zhou's luck; a butterfly's dream is Zhuang Zhou, and a butterfly's misfortune." Stepping into the hustle and bustle of life from the unhappy realm, I am afraid it is the sadness of the butterfly. The world laughs at me for being too crazy, and I laugh at others who can't see through. It turns out that these two iron buddies are very sensible people who have penetrated the essence of Zhuangzi's philosophy early on.
