Willows and Flowers

When she puts the pan in the refrigerator, when she makes mistakes over and over with memo pads, when she goes skiing and forgets the way home...

After reading the winter night 7 years ago, it has been haunting my heart.

Alice Munro's short story adaptation of the film "The Willows and Flowers" carefully created the emotional end of a couple who have been together for 44 years. The wife gradually lost her memory and had to send her to a nursing home, but the husband was regarded as a stranger by the wife.

The emotion of a lifetime has to be rediscovered when it comes. This is not just a memory that simply proves love, but a sincere affection that seeks in the heart, knowing that there is no future, but it is still sacred and touching.

This film is better in the details. It stretches like the ice and snow of the endless wasteland in Canada, and its elegant fragrance is like the wild chrysanthemum after the autumn rain...

In 2013, "Suzanne" directed by French female director Cadele Chieviret, put aside the petty bourgeoisie sentiment, quite the style of the new wave movies of that year, and recorded the growth history of the girl Susannah with a different mental journey.

He was raised by his father who drove a truck along with his younger sister, Maria, since his mother died when he was young. The family was happy and had a lot of happy time. With the advent of puberty, Maria became more obedient, but Susanna was rebellious and unrestrained. She fell in love at school early, became pregnant, was expelled from the school, gave birth to a child, and was unkind. She was imprisoned for theft and lost custody of the child.

He lost his mother's love since childhood, and faced with a simple and unresolved father, the contradictions were irreconcilable. The meaning of home is gradually drifting away, all of which have broken my father's heart and gave my sister a headache. A few years later, when she was wandering outside, she went to her mother's cemetery to worship, and at the same time, she saw the tomb of her sister Maria in dismay, which made her choked up and in pain.

A cruel poem of growth, after the wind blows, leaves and dust are rolled up, and you wake up suddenly, but never look back.
