I just finished reading the Maze Runner trilogy today. At the end of the first part, Thomas and some people ran out of the maze and were picked up by a group of people flying a plane. They just came out of the tiger's den and entered the wolf's den. It was really miserable. The base is to be tested, and there are "zombies" infected with the virus when they escape. The second part added two new characters Brunda and the old black man (forgot his name) in addition to the original cast, as well as the biggest villain Jensen (very good at disguising). At the end of the second part, Mino was captured by the female doctor, and Teresa also defected. This opens the third episode of Mino's Rescue.
To be honest, the third part really made my tears at the end. Newt died because he was infected with the virus and did not get the serum.
