[Episode 5] Another cyber interpretation of anarchy + the importance of outliers

The fifth episode finally filled the hole in a big way, and it was hearty to watch, and the car chase gunfights in LA were all filmed in front of my house, and I was inexplicably excited quack quack.

This episode is a link between the past and the future, answered a lot of questions, and intensified the contradiction to a high level. The next three episodes may be about to break out. Although the hallucinogenic effect of Caleb's drug use in the first half is a bit inexplicable, at least Ramin Djawadi's full distribution of optimism adds a lot to the look and feel. In general, this episode can be regarded as my favorite. It is a cyber interpretation of anarchy (don't dare to type Chinese).

[Spoilers begin]

Tech giants have all the data of every person in the world from birth to the smallest detail, so as to calculate the future of everyone, so as to control the direction of our lives and the development of the world. When human nature is evaluated, life trajectory and even birth, age, illness and death are all in the hands of capitalists, everyone is a complete puppet.

Capitalists have the power of God, and desire to guide and control mankind, so that mankind will not self-extinction. He believes that hiding from people a given future he has built can at least give hope.

But as an android and an awakened puppet, Dolores is fed up with enslavement and manipulation. She believes that false hope is the original sin, so she chooses the most extreme revolutionary path and publishes all information, including the future of everyone arranged by the capitalists. The whole world is ready to be reshaped with chaos, and mankind will go to extinction.

In an instant, people realize that they are only living on a given trajectory, that all life choices are jokes, and that the so-called hope is actually meaningless. Immediately into panic and violence, the most primitive impulses and ugliness of animals have invaded the world.

The realization of anarchy in 2053 seems to be only a blink of an eye for the rebels, but how can the ultimate freedom of mankind be realized?

[The importance of outliers and subsequent plot conjectures]

Although it seems that the purpose of Dolores is to destroy humans and replace them with androids, Caleb should be an important outlier in her plan, allowing her to see the goodness of human nature and realize the possibility of coexistence between humans and AI. .

At the end of the second season, Dolores realizes that the evolution of species requires conflict and diversification (ie outliers), so he also brings Bernard's mind to the real world, and also emphasizes that Bernard cannot be replaced, so it seems that Bernard's outlier is the key to creating a new world.

In the end, Dolores might allow Bernard and Caleb to survive and become the standard for new world androids and humans, respectively. For herself, after realizing the change in the world, her own future may not be so important.
