Everything will go back with the dust, without exception. And how should I live my life?

[This documentary is so good, the Regon dance at the beginning has already attracted my whole body and mind. At the beginning, the dust, the long journey, and the volcanic eruption were about the destruction and initiation of the world. With this kind of religious music, this shot wanted to express the origin of life. 】

Nature is eternal, and we are just passing through.

Every second, every minute, every day of our existence is so fleeting, it is only a momentary thing in nature.

This documentary captures the awe of the unknown in people's hearts, the awe of the most unfathomable places, such as desert forests and snow-capped mountains.

The wonders that appear under the miraculous work of nature are breathtaking, and I can't help but sigh, are these real? How long have they been around? Why does it exist? What kind of existence are we to them? I always feel that human beings have infinite possibilities and potentials, but nature can create unimaginable landscapes without the help of the technological power or mechanical tools that humans use. did it? Thinking of this, I feel an unparalleled shock.

"Reincarnation" seems to have opened the perspective of God,

Looking at everything that happens in the world in the sky.

Later, the camera cut to the modern urban traffic, as well as some high-tech products.

The human society captured by the documentary is full of weirdness. The camera takes us to examine some of the things we take for granted. Indoor ski resorts, human tall buildings, land reclamation (Palm Island), all kinds of strange hotels, they are like monsters. I am reminded of the story in Visages Villages where ranchers cut off their horns to prevent goats from fighting, "Goats are born with horns, so keep them as they were born". The production activities of human beings have changed a lot of the appearance given to them by nature itself. This kind of change seems to be blameless, but it always makes people feel uncomfortable.

And then to the inequality between men and women in human society, stage plays in small "boxes", heavy traffic, endless crowds, crowded subways, human beings dressed as demons (cosplay), tattooed all over their bodies and nails on their lips. Humans with nails, factory workers in uniform uniforms, workers on assembly lines. Under the camera, each reveals the grotesque and absurd. What is the essential difference between an animal slaughtered by man and a man? Animals are more short-lived from birth to death. Humans rely on higher animals, but their lives are so mediocre, and their will is controlled by the entire society. What is the meaning of these decades of life?

There are many details that are well chosen. The contrast between shemales and blow-up dolls, prison inmates dancing, everyone has a story in their eyes.

However, I was really intimidated by the two shots. One was the performance of a French performance artist and the scene where the machine harvested the chickens, which terrified me. The scene was not bloody, but it was very scary and made me feel chills down my spine.

Robots are becoming more and more like people, and people are becoming less and less like people.

There are obviously some familiar scenes, but the smell of human fireworks is missing from the lens. The existence of individuals has no meaning, and everyone is just a small screw in society. Looking at these "exactly the same" monotonous mechanical people, a wave of powerlessness came over me.

There were tears in my eyes. Are you crying for the people in front of the camera, or are you crying for my small and ordinary life?

I cried. Literally, i cried. Life like this is horrible - and even more horrible that I could be one of them and live my life just like that, drifting with the flow and meaningless. Suddenly I don't want to live like this anymore. Suddenly scared.

I seem to have returned to the night before the mid-term exam in the second semester of junior high school. My stress was too great to resolve. I secretly read a book in the bedroom in the early hours of the morning. The book was "Alive" by Yu Hua. My roommates fell asleep, and I cried silently. I dread the moment—the moment when I realize that my life is a void. I don't want to live an ordinary and ethereal life, but I have to admit that I'm just a mortal. The more awake the more painful.

"All conditioned dharmas are like dream bubbles, dew and electricity, and should be viewed in this way."

Everything will go back with the dust, without exception. How should I live my life?

This documentary, without a doubt, deserves five stars, but there are still some minor deficiencies.

One is that the film is too guiding. On the one hand, it can be said that the director's thoughts are fully expressed, and the essence is selected.

Also, the author is more presenting, but not exploring the methodology. It can make people feel overwhelmed. This is not necessary, no need to force it, it is already excellent.

However, as a Chinese, some of the clips in it caused a bit of psychological discomfort.
