Burly hobble

Old Dan is a bit older, but still so burly. The way of walking can't tell whether it has been intentionally designed, and it conveys some stumbling. But all the action designs are still so simple, the ending method is done in one go, there is no hesitation, no emotional leakage of cruelty, no facial expressions, only the gentleness and firmness in the eyes. That touch of gentleness is looking forward to the repentance and awakening of the opponent, with the utmost sincerity; and the firm eyes are all the true colors of the killer. In Lao Dan's eyes, either you are a warm humanity or a broken or cold corpse.

The film may be accused of becoming procrastinated, and too many short stories in the criticized drama have scattered the explosion of the character's own image. But what you are looking at is not Brother Tom, or Uncle Liam, or John Wick. The names in Lao Dan's play are a bit old-fashioned—McCock, I definitely can't remember. Just like this, a former agent who hides in the city is doing something he can do to help others, even though he has lost everything. If you regard loss as a punishment, perhaps helping them is also a redemption for loss.

The story is nothing new, and the technique is first-line. For Lao Dan, I personally just want to simply watch him act. Because he has almost no bad movies, every one is looking forward to. Watching Lao Dan is like watching a city that is not particularly prosperous in the movie, a low-class apartment, and a small town in a storm. The objects in the home, shown in the unique color palette or night lights, are not advanced, not warm, but there is an indescribable precipitation, just like a person, they have experienced time, not complicated or floating, People can't feel the sense of appearance caused by specially set up for filming. The short story, the city, the apartment, the home, and the town all fit this seemingly ordinary and special character just right. You would imagine that if the story were not presented from the perspective of the movie and the timeline, such an unnamed avenger hidden in the city would really be dissolved in life, but he would make you feel that he was exquisite all the time. Lao Dan's story is very American, very grounded, small, non-combustible, and not exaggerated. The editing of the action scenes is top-notch, making the characters very clean and tidy. The change of movement and quietness is skillful.

I heard that there was a third part, but I didn't expect that there would be a second part at that time.

If nothing else, I recognize the brand of Lao Dan.

Looking forward to the next story, but don't engage in any shocking conspiracy. If the screenwriter wants to make a shocking conspiracy, the third part is basically the last one. Hope it can be a good series.
