Selma and Louise are a pair of close friends. Selma is an ordinary housewife, always obedient to the simple-minded husband of a drunkard with well-developed limbs. And Louise is a waiter in a restaurant, with a strong personality, but tired of ordinary life. So the two decided to travel together for relaxation. At this time, the journey of Selma and Louise was only an escape to get rid of the boredom or helplessness in real life. Therefore, the reason why travel excites them lies in the unknown front. Of course, there is a certain danger in the unknown. But what Selma and Louise didn't expect was that this danger led them to a completely different path. Selma was nearly raped in the bar parking lot. Louise arrived in time and shot the man in panic and anger. Panicked, the two fled the scene and planned to escape to Mexico. From then on, the two of them had a relaxed and pleasant trip but turned into a desperate world. On the way, the police are approaching every step of the way. They once had the last glimmer of hope for the police for their love, but they all came to nothing. No one can protect these two weak women, and the only way for them to continue to survive is to rely on themselves. The character of Selma and Louise changed drastically. They fought against the male society in a heroic way, and in the end they died tragically to fight against the patriarchal society just like heroes.
