1. Aliens Aliens integrate into the new environment to find the identity of the identity subject, indifferent and selfish people and the society's distrust and exclusion of these people.

2. In this process of integration, the subject’s individuality is lost (separation of body parts & separation of body and soul & mummy metaphor), the institutionalized social environment is actually a kind of harm to the transformation of people, making people become walking dead , loses self-character, becomes worldly hypocritical and selfish.

3. In this process, the protagonist not only wants to integrate into the group and the larger environment, but also instinctively resists the loss of self-subjectivity, and finally ends up in tragedy.

The last part of Roman Polanski's "Apartment" trilogy, the first time I saw Polanski's film, it turned out that this is a film that accuses society under the guise of a horror film. The shot of people's heads thrown out of the window in the film has become a classic. Isabelle Adjani wears big glasses, and I've never been able to confirm it was her because it was my first time watching her movie. She and Polanski touched each other while watching Bruce Lee's movies in the theater. They were really ecstatic!

4.5 Several scenes were filmed too well// Two days later, I decided to give five stars for re-evaluation. Although I am not satisfied with some of the twists and turns, it is really flawed. Polanski's own performance & the middle of the night toilet scene & basketball / head scene & body The philosophical thinking & the final jumping off the building scene... I really remembered many episodes after watching it.

The Tenant quotes

  • Trelkovsky: These days, relationships with neighbors can be... quite complicated. You know, little things that get blown up out of all proportion? You know what I mean?

Stella's Friend: No, no I don't. I mind my own business.

  • Trelkovsky: I am not Simone Choule!
