The story takes place in medieval Europe. King Stephen and Queen Lea gave birth to the little princess Aurora, and the people of the whole country congratulated the king and queen for this. At the princess's birth and christening ceremony, three good fairies came. They were Fairy Farrer, Fairy Jade and Fairy Blue Sky. They took turns to give the little princess good wishes. However. After the second fairy's blessing, the evil black witch Melficent suddenly appeared in the main hall and cursed in the name of the princess' blessing, causing Princess Aurora to be stabbed to death by a spinning needle on her 16th birthday. After Melficent went away laughing wildly, everyone was terrified, and the third fairy had not blessed the princess, she changed the death spell to a sleeping spell, the princess must get the prince's true love kiss to wake up Come. Subsequently, the king ordered all the spinning wheels in the country to be burned down. But what is unexpected is that even though the three fairies tried their best to help, they still could not avoid the fulfillment of the curse, and Princess Aerola couldn't wake up. In the end, Prince Philip, who was in love with the princess, cut thorns for love, overcame all difficulties, defeated Melficent, and climbed to the top of the tower to break the princess' curse with a kiss of true love.

Sleeping Beauty quotes

  • Maleficent: [seeing captured Prince Philip] Well - this is a pleasant surprise. I set my trap for a peasant and LO! - I catch a prince! Away with him - but gently my pets, gently. I have plans for our royal guest.

  • Maleficent: Oh come now Prince Phillip. Why so melancholy? A wondrous future lies before you - you, the destined hero of a charming fairy tale come true. Behold - King Stefan's castle. And in yonder topmost tower, dreaming of her true love, the Princess Aurora. But see the gracious whim of fate - why, 'tis the self-same peasant maid, who won the heart of our noble prince but yesterday. She is indeed, most wondrous fair. Gold of sunshine in her hair, lips that shame the red red rose. In ageless sleep, she finds repose. The years roll by, but a hundred years to a steadfast heart, are but a day. And now, the gates of a dungeon part, and our prince is free to go his way. Off he rides, on his noble steed, a valiant figure, straight and tall! To wake his love, with love's first kiss. And prove that "true love" conquers all!

    [she laughs]
