Agent Technology

First of all, the child is the real male protagonist.

The sci-fi setting of the story is speculated based on the movie:

1. Alien has ecological box technology, which is used to cultivate agents of various worlds. Their maturity cycle is less than one year, and the role of the ecological box is to prepare these agents who will go to various worlds after one year, so that they can be familiar with the corresponding culture and the most basic communication. The role of the agent includes but is not limited to the introduction of "Dad & Mama" into the new world, returning to the ecological box, and possibly other roles such as becoming a "planet lord" (slightly brainstorming, the sequel can be shot like this).

2. Alien has genetic modification technology, and its primitive race should most likely not be humanoid (refer to the male protagonist who imitates his own family and speaks will not only inflate the air bag but also twist the body). Then the whole movie world view is likely to be multi-world, this race of aliens is likely to have agents in multiple worlds, and the agents of different worlds correspond to the dominant race of that world.

3. Alien's language and writing system consists of at least two systems. Let's assume that the first system is the sound system, and the second system is the image-symbol system. The book that the male protagonist brought back should be a preschool reading material to teach them: a. Human body structure b. How to use airbags to speak native language c. How to interpret images, each image should correspond to 1 paragraph of text , and also introduces changes in different image patterns (which may represent changes in semantics). So the male protagonist may actually watch their entertainment programs when he goes home to watch TV (watching too much at night woke up "Dad" 233), or he may be studying (don't be too NB after reading an article in 1 second)

4. Of course, the movie can be understood from the implied meaning, that is, the alienation of capital to people blablabla, such as "Dad" digging a hole to seek the "root" or "foundation" of this world, and finally he found the previous generation of himself, Then he finally realized that he himself is the foundation of this world. And "Mom" finally saw different versions of them in the underground world, which can be understood as different choices in life (a bit far-fetched...)

In general, the movie can be interpreted in many ways, whether it is purely sci-fi, or whether it is a reflection of reality, it is still quite good. It may be a bit boring, and I thought there would be a cycle of horror cruises at first, but it didn't.
