If I wasn't interested in this history, I'd be bored. If I knew this was the case, I would choose to look for a book to read.

The story is a good story and an anecdote of the profession, but it doesn't look good. It becomes difficult to choose the historical focus. Too many things happen and it is difficult to understand the logic. If it is complete, there is no focus. The pile of time points will become a running account. Tesla was suddenly deceived? Explained too little. Biographies are probably like that, and so are the darkest moments. The whole process is taking the train, walking, reading newspapers, commercial warfare, and telling history with movies.

In order to finish the story in a limited time, and the content is too much, the screen changes quickly, the rhythm is super fast, and the face is blind, except for the curly blessing, sometimes I have to pause to recognize whether it is Westinghouse or Tesla or someone else, to the dialogue. Parts are finally able to slow down. I was stunned, it was too fast, I couldn't keep up, I had to pause. I choose to look for books to read. It turned out to be the battle between Edison and Westinghouse. I always thought it was Edison and Tesla.

Cunfu is still the same Cunfu, Tesla is busy doing experiments, and he has less words than his brother Holland.

"Welcome to the reality of the birth of great inventions. We all contribute. Salt, grain, temperature, heart. But there is only one man who can make bread rise, and the man who combines everything to make bread delicious enough that people are willing to pay the hard work money. Buy."

Can you give Tesla a little more drama? He has been very pitiful in history, how can he still be a cute and deceitful little guy in the movie. . . . The price is so cute. // The three main characters are just mediocre, and even Edison, who is good and bad, doesn't have much depth.

There are a lot of complaints in the comment area, which made me a little nervous before watching it, but it turns out that this movie is my dish. The scientists are fighting their wits and courage, and they are a bit trembling (in the era of honor-oriented aristocracy, it is out of line, but from a modern perspective, there may be no Yankees) How beautiful the story is

The Current War: Director's Cut quotes

  • Nikola Tesla: A true legacy isn't what we build up to the heavens or carve deep into stone. Rocks will crumble, paper disintegrates, and bone turns to powder. Only that which isn't in the physical realm and reaches in both directions can be eternal. Our ideas. They are what we leave behind. And only they are what can push us forward.

Thomas Edison: To all whom it may concern, be it known that I, Thomas Alva Edison, submits on this, the 27th day of January, 1880, the application of this abstract to the Patent Office of the United States of America. The unique design of my invention is that of a glass vacuum tube which houses inside a thin cotton thread filament, the two lower ends of which secure respective posts, forming an arch shape. Details and schematic drawings follow exhibiting all aspects of the invention. But its purpose is simple, to give light.
