I always cry for the one who suffers

Theodore 2022-03-21 09:01:43

When the two sides are against each other, we cannot stand on either side and talk about who is right and who is wrong, who should continue, and who should be destroyed. It is not good to think that you are an outsider and say a few words and nothing will change.

I cried from the moment God started using his magical powers to take the life of the firstborn of the Egyptians, until the Hebrews crossed the Red Sea and came out of Egypt.

The Hebrews are free, what about the Egyptians? The people lost their firstborn, and the army that came to pursue the Hebrews was wiped out.

This is the oldest law, an eye for an eye, a tat for a tat, the Egyptians treated the Hebrews as slaves, exploited and oppressed them all day, made them work for themselves, and abused them inhumanly, just To build a more magnificent temple. This is sinful and cruel to us now, but then God sent disasters and made all the Egyptians suffer. Who would dare to say that this is completely fair?

When the Hebrews dragged their families out of Egypt, I saw the relaxed smiles on their faces, and they felt at ease, but I couldn't relax. I felt that the Egyptians were crying behind them, and they were walking towards the light. The future of the Egyptians stepped into the darkness with another foot.

Everyone is guilty and everyone is innocent.

Why does one group of people have to suffer when another group of people is happy?

Reading the Old Testament of the Bible, people in the world say that God is fraternal, but I feel that God is too ruthless. Wasn’t the hell he moved to the world the night he brought down the plague of death? A group of people who have no virtue at all, as long as they regard him as their only belief, he favors them without hesitation. As long as people are unfaithful to him, he immediately brings disasters, waiting for this group of people to cry to him, Ask him to bless you.

I don't love this kind of belief, which imposes original sin on people, describes history as retribution, and attributes the greatness of every person who has been named in history to God's blessing. Only the people who believe in God can win. Everyone else is heresy and deserves it. was exterminated.

However, any belief is self-consistent in its own logical system, and I do not judge whether it is good or bad.

I don't expect no one in the world to suffer for the happiness of another group of people, but I can't hold back my tears in the face of suffering.

Neither "The Prince of Egypt" nor "Exodus" ended up being rescued.
