Every minute of this movie is discussing a topic: traditional VS new technology, who can win?
The word "tradition" isn't accurate, it's just that I can't think of a neutral word as opposed to technology.
In the end, Johnny, wearing heavy medieval armor and striding hard, threw the iPad at Jason like a stone.
Johnny is undoubtedly the icon of tradition, he doesn't even know smartphones.
This scene is probably meant to express: Tradition struggles to keep up with the pace of technology with its self-righteous solidity and glory, and then destroys it with brute force as always. Cot calm's database was also blown up by missiles, just as savage.
Jason was knocked unconscious, the equipment in his hand was destroyed, but the data had been fully transmitted to the LA database.
It was a fleeting, superficial, narcissistic victory for the traditional faction, who beat people and smashed devices, but failed to beat the heart of new technology: data.
And the retention of data seems to show that technology is not guilty, but people are guilty.
In fact, the director has tried his best to objectively present the advantages and disadvantages and contradictions of tradition and technology.
It's just that in my eyes, this war ended with a silent and proud victory of technology.
BTW: This 6.4 rating is really Gucci. . .
