Probably the plot is that the rookie police officer Nick played by Ryan Reynolds lost his life on the mission and drifted to a department called "The Underworld Police Department". After returning to the world to capture the underworld thugs, his partner is Roy, an old man who has been dead for hundreds of years, played by Jeff Bridges. Two partners with very different personalities work together to fight against all kinds of strange flowers to maintain the peace of the yin and yang worlds.
The overall plot trend is similar to that of an ordinary superhero movie. The new rookie is partnered with a police detective who has been in business for many years. It is a bit like J and K in Men in Black. Because of their different personalities and ways of doing things, they have made a lot of jokes. This is also the movie. a big laugh. In particular, I admire the screenwriter's perspective of the protagonist and the perspective of passers-by's different images. The dialogue and contrast between the old man and the blond beauty from different perspectives are quite funny.
All in all, this is an ordinary popcorn movie that can be watched as a leisure time without getting too deep into the plot.
