I lost, I searched, I found

A lot of people say this movie is sad. "Fate is like a fly, you can't predict it, you can't catch it, you can only accept it, let it go, and live with it." Many people said that this is the gist of this film. But I think the exact opposite. I feel like this movie is only half the story. And the second half of the sentence he really wanted to say was only slightly opened in the last ten minutes of the film. . .

1. I Lost My Body This is the title of the film and the first half of the sentence he expounded in the first 70 minutes.

A very subtle point of this film is that he puts the first person in the "hand" perspective. He didn't say "I (person) lost my hand", but said, "I (hand) lost my body", and the whole article is the same. , implying the fate of man. Hands have great memories. Feel the breeze, touch the quicksand, play the keys, hold the little astronaut model. The male protagonist's beautiful childhood echoes it. There are loving parents, pure dreams, love and warmth. But the hand lost its body. The hero also lost everything. I lost my parents, I lost my dream, I lost my job, I was frustrated in love, and I lost my right hand in an accident. Broken Hand has endured numerous malice and ups and downs along the way: he was crowded out by pigeons, attacked by mice, locked in the refrigerator, and sank to the bottom of the water. The male protagonist's life, needless to say, is extremely tortuous. In the film, there are several gray shots that flash quickly, and the little boy who lost his parents attends a funeral alone, being watched by strangers. When he grew up, his life was also gloomy. The pizzeria owner, roommate, and landlord all carried a suffocating indifference. The hand never caught a fly. The male protagonist has not grasped the fate. I Lost. I lost. You win. This seems to be the sentence that the film shouts out loud. Lost in a mess.

2. I Keep Looking/Trying. But what? In fact, this film does not tell a "lost" story, does it? What he wanted to express was to "seek".

Broken Hand has been looking for a way back, looking for his master, and has never flinched despite all the difficulties. The male protagonist has been fighting against fate. At first, he was reprimanded by the boss for being too slow in delivering the food, so he galloped with all his strength. In order to pursue the girl he likes, he flips through the phone book and dials one by one. He struggled to get a new job and dragged himself out of a bad life. He never gave up on "catching flies".

I saw someone say: "The only time he caught a fly, he paid a higher price and lost more, so we can't overcome fate, we can only accept it and live with it" But what I see is: he even Losing his hands, he did not give in, but jumped, struggling to break out of the shackles of fate. He succeeded, he shouted, he smiled up to the sky. Even in the game with fate, he lost countless times, but he still kept on challenging, even if he just won this small leap, he still won.

Then what? Once you fooled destiny. Then what? Then you...you don't let it catch up to you. You barrel through. And cross your fingers. Cross your fingers and keep praying until fate can't get hold of me anymore. In the film, all the "lost" are only given a short shot. The scene of "I lost my hand" is also shown at the end of the story. What we see more is not "how to lose", but "how to find", how to work hard, how to fight, how to fight and lose again and again Repeatedly defeated.

I Lost, But I Keep Looking. I Lost, But I Keep Trying. I lost, but I never gave up trying.

I thought that was the overtone of the film.

3. I Found It. The hand finally found the body. The male protagonist also found the courage to cheer up again. But someone else said, what if you go back to your body? A broken hand symbolizes irreparable loss. It's been of no avail. But I thought the search process was meaningful enough. Maybe the final outcome is not to get back what was lost, but I believe that all lost will come back in another way. The male protagonist who lost his parents finally met an elder who cared about him like Gigi. Failed to realize his dream, but found his new love. The severed hand failed to return to the body, but he witnessed the male protagonist's leap to break through himself and his destiny. He no longer needs it, he has moved on. I also believe that people who keep trying will "find" one day. The male protagonist will eventually catch the fly, and he will eventually escape the evil claws of fate by running constantly. My father said, "You can't do everything well, that's life." But one day, it will, won't it. "I Lost My Body. But I Keep Looking. Then I Found It." That's how I heard this film sound. "I lost, I searched, I found." Maybe you are losing, maybe you are looking, maybe you have been lost and want to give up. The process of losing is painful, and the process of finding is hard, but you have to remember and always believe that it is only a process. You too will one day leap forward. Or pass through the busy traffic with the help of a rotating umbrella, or jump up from the springboard in three or two steps. You will eventually land on a high point beyond fate and say proudly: "I Found It."
