Episode 1
I really liked the original, and I really understood the original.
The show is quite different from the original. First Mia and Pearl, Lexie, Moody, Iggy, Tripp, including Dad. Except for my mother, none of the characters fit my imagination.
I imagine pearl to be a slender, black-haired, somewhat Asian-looking girl like a deer.
The first episode did not reveal mia's past experience and inner world like the audience. The characters are very rude and playful in the play.
Mom, the actor, after watching Big Little Lies, is really easy to get visual fatigue.
The final clip of the first episode is very good.
It can be seen that this show is still a bit of a level. But in the case of remakes of the original work, it is still far from enough to move people.
At present, this drama does not have the focus and emotion that the original book wanted to express. On the contrary, it makes me think that this is an ordinary American middle-class drama.
Episode 2
Mia is really good in the play and jb is rude and nonsensical. I really don't like rude people.
Mia's operation of calling colleagues to pretend to be the former landlord is an insult to my IQ??
And pearl let moody smoke marijuana???
Mother and daughter Mia are African American on the show. The play also focuses on the issue of racial discrimination many times.
