Makes "To Yoon-hee" dwarfed

I just watched the Korean movie "To Yoon-hee" two days ago. The story is similar to "Portrait of a Burning Woman", but the level is different. I always think the best LGBT movies are in France, Italy and Spain, especially in France. Whether it is other countries in Europe, Hollywood, or Japan and South Korea, although the level of the film is quite high, it is timid to show LGBT as soon as it is filmed. They can't forget to fight discrimination, to call for equality and understanding, and to be politically correct. For example, "To Yoon-hee" mentioned earlier, or Japan's "Life is Tight", Taiwan's "Who Falls in Love with Him First", Britain's "Danish Girl", etc., they are all excellent movies. , but always carried a sour grievance. The movie "Portrait of a Burning Woman" goes beyond LGBT political issues. It only talks about love and how two people who love each other are connected. Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" once again appeared in the film, and participated in the plot of the story, with the finishing touch. Looking through the director's resume of this film, I found that "Tomboy" (2011) is actually her work, awesome! I'm going to listen to "Four Seasons" from beginning to end tomorrow.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire quotes

  • Héloïse: I feel something new.

    Marianne: What?

    Héloïse: Regret.

Marianne: Don't regret. Remember. I'll remember when you fell asleep in the kitchen.

Héloïse: I'll remember your dark look when I beat you at cards.

Marianne: I'll remember the first time you laughed.

Héloïse: You took your time being funny.

Marianne: That's true. I wasted time.

Héloïse: I wasted time too. I'll remember the first time I wanted to kiss you.

    Marianne: When was that?

    Héloïse: You didn't notice?

Marianne: At the feast around the bonfire.

Héloïse: I wanted to, yes. But that wasn't the first time.

    Marianne: Tell me.

    Héloïse: No, you tell me.

Marianne: When you asked if I had known love. I could tell the answer was yes. And that it was now.

    Héloïse: I remember.

  • Héloïse: It's a life that has advantages. There's a library. You can sing or hear music. And equality is a pleasant feeling.
