It shouldn't be like this.
Every episode since Nagisa left has touched me a lot, but the way it was handled at the end really blinded me.
Whether it is the fragment of the hidden world that often appears in the front, or the light jade next to the title tree of each episode, the foreshadowing is in place.
But the ending makes me feel that there are too many things missing, the foreshadowing is too deep and the ending is too simple, or in other words, too much is omitted.
I only went through the Chunyuan line and knew very little about the original work, but out of love for this work, I chose to believe that I didn't understand what the animation wanted to express, so I watched the last episode three times.
However, I came to the conclusion that Tomoya did a miracle through the incarnation of the small town Shio and the light jade that he had helped others to obtain before.
But isn't the way this miracle is achieved?
When I didn't know the specific way of realizing the miracle of the original work, I gave a possible ending: Xi did not fall in the town, but arrived at the flower field with Tomoya. After that, I told Tomoya the truth, And use Guangyu to save Nagisa.
Of course, this ending undoubtedly cannot stand scrutiny, but it is more in line with my own ideas and the conclusions I have drawn before. Moreover, such an ending did not improve the entire work, and it can be said to be extremely bland.
So I looked up the true ending of the game. Guangyu was collected by Tomoya Okazaki in his life before he came back again and again after many trials and tribulations. There are 13 pieces, none of which can be missing.
Just a few dozen words above made me feel that the reason why miracles are miracles has a certain reason, and it is not something that can be obtained simply. And these can't be seen from the animation, at least, I can't see it.
Of course, both the length and the integration of multiple lines before the animation have led to such an ending, which is not feasible in animation. However, based on the last episode alone, I can't read it.
I've always had the slightest resistance to a happy ending. However, this way, acceptance cannot be.
All of the above are my own thoughts. Of course, different people will have different ideas, and this work has brought me far more than that. As a few days, I can think more and be able to carefully Reflecting on the works of my life, I am still full of gratitude.
After all, what looks like four stars is actually 4.9/5.
So why not give it five stars? Some works, as long as they stand out a little, I can ignore others and give them five stars. However, some works, as long as there is a little lack, I would rather give four stars.
In the end, it's still the focus of this work.

After a short sleep, I decided to watch it again from episode 21. Seeing Shio struggling to walk with Tomoya's hand, and the correspondence between girls and dolls in the hidden world, I was filled with emotion, which greatly eased my sense of disobedience to the ending.
After watching the total episodes in the afternoon, I suddenly realized that I had overlooked the scene in the nineteenth episode where Tomoya gets the last light jade. In the animation, this is the only light jade that has entered Tomoya's heart, so it can be regarded as the only light jade of Tomoya, so that a more self-consistent understanding of the ending can be obtained: here, One light jade can fulfill Tomoya's wish, and this one is the collection of all the light jades seen before (combined with the scene with a bit of stream of consciousness in episode 22), the town heard Tomoya's cry through light jade , gave Tomoya a chance (that is, the first episode of CL that reappeared at the end of 21 episodes), and then Tomoya made the right choice with the help of the avatar of the small town (that is, the first half of 22 episodes), thus obtaining happiness.
If you understand it in this way, it will not violate the original work, and you can justify it without watching the original work (that is, ignore that this light jade is the collection of all the light jades you have seen before), forming a perfect ending.
After all, I still want to understand only from the perspective of animation.
The title has also been changed from "I Can't Take the Last Episode" to "I Seem to Be able to Take the Last Episode"
The next time I revise the review, my evaluation of this work will definitely be able to reach the near-perfect CL in my mind.
