Pioneer Bookstore · "Character"

It seems that my sense of direction is still ok. I followed the way I used to take the bus to get to the Wutaishan Gymnasium. Then, from the mouths of a pair of young people who passed by, he judged the approximate location of the Pioneer Bookstore, and then shrugged and slipped in like an unemployed hooligan who had never seen the world.
I want to say that this place is really cool, after all, it's my first time here, because there are tables and chairs, I don't have to squat next to the bookshelves like when I was a kid, worrying about the goddamn bookstore keeper coming over regularly and asking me for this book Do not buy, very bad memories. And the sofa, it's so comfortable, I think I can come here to sleep, no one should charge me for sleeping. Moreover, the whole bookstore has the feeling of a loft and a little loft. If I were rich, I might put my study in the attic. If I did this, of course I wouldn't put so many books in the same way. There are also some old photos hanging on the wall, many of which I looked up at when I was a child, except for the conspicuous red Guevara. I don't know if they are hiring or not. I apply for a job. As long as I have water to drink and books to read, I don't want that salary.
Watching a movie in there is kind of weird. The "Character" I watched today had a depressing and gloomy atmosphere, but I heard Kitaro's music from the bookstore and the cry of a baby, which were mixed together and stuffed into my ears, as if I had entered an elegant vegetable market. Next time, I have to come earlier and sit in the front. At least I can reduce these effects, and I can see the subtitles smoothly. I don’t have to constantly change my posture to exercise, and the film doesn’t look good.
"Character" narrative is not alternative, flashback type. The protagonist's father died, the police arrested him, the buddies began to speak bitterly about the revolutionary family history, and finally returned to the beginning of the film, giving an open ending, the end.
At the end of the discussion with the people of the Heart Association and the 7thArt edition, I have always been an observer. I have never been an active speaker. However, they kept talking about psychoanalysis and theories. God, I don't understand. I was just struggling to change my posture and watch a movie.
When I left, I met my classmate's girlfriend and chatted with her about this movie, which made me feel a little relaxed. In general, with a little suspense, it can lead people to continue, and it is a predictable plot. The overall tone of the film is rather gloomy, but there is one thing that I can't figure out. When the protagonist Jacob went to the law firm for the first time, the colors were brighter, and he seemed to have hope. But I don't know exactly why.
There is also Jacob's mother, chatting with friends, I think she is a key role, without her, there would be no presentation of Jacob's character in the play. She is a tough woman, constantly refusing the marriage proposal of Jacob's father, Archon Duverhaven, who had a one-night stand with her, and raising Jacob to grow up. It can be said that Jacob's strength is rooted in her. It even seemed that she was fighting with Duverhaven, a fight of character, she loved Duverhaven.
Jacob's upbringing seemed to mean that the task of developing his strong character was in the hands of Archon Doverhaven. Duverhaven loves Jacob, but he is not good at expressing it (like my old father), just keeps torturing Jacob's life, forcing Jacob to fight with him, maybe so that Jacob can continue to do what he expects Grow up, go strong, and make people faintly aware of warmth in extreme means. The final battle between father and son was close to a ritual, and the tone of his character could be inherited from Jacob. As for Jacob, I don't think it matters whether he surpassed him or not. Originally, Jacob was different from him.
And Jacob, like his father, can't chase girls, hehe. No wonder his mother told him you were a fool, and I think Duverhaven too.
A friend asked me if I could watch it as an educational film. I said that it is not necessary. Strong parents use extraordinary means to make their children grow up. It’s better to watch them as dramas. I have such parents, and I will collapse.
