Lie to me was ruined by actors and screenwriters. Roth's performance was really a performance. . . If Dr. Ekman's book is made into a science and education film, I think the ratings will be better than lie to me.
Mentalist's ratings are mostly based on Baker's smile. Mentalist's relaxed and humorous style is approachable and comfortable. The casting of the show was very successful, and several supporting roles were also quite brilliant.
Castle is a drama very similar to mentalist, but the protagonist doesn't have Baker's smile.
