not far away

It's always interesting to see that it's an adaptation of a true story. There are two things that hit me in the whole film. The first is that when the male protagonist was tried in court and was just brought to prison, all the so-called public servants, the so-called law enforcement officers, regarded him as a great disgrace. To think that defending black like him is smearing his own race is an absolute betrayal and incomprehensible. God, this idea, this idea that everyone holds true, only a few short decades ago. The second is when the male protagonist escapes, and the subtitles at the end show that he was not pardoned until the 1990s. In the '90s, when I was born, somewhere in the world was just beginning to shift such a horrific view. So... these darkness, it turns out that it is not far from us. We also don't know if they are making a comeback.

From the prison break itself, it is also a very exciting story. Roughly compared to make sense, there is not much aura of the protagonist, and there are many obstacles. But with perseverance, perseverance and belief, everything was finally overcome. I have to admit that Daniel has long been out of the shadow of Harry Potter, and his acting skills are excellent. Many close-ups fully describe his nervousness and sense of urgency, which is very difficult.

In the era of peace, in the era of openness, it may not be difficult to maintain justice. The difficulty is that when the whole world is crazy, can you still insist on the righteousness in your heart. It is because of the struggle and blood and sweat of these people, whether they are in jail or those who have escaped from prison, that the equality that seems to be taken for granted today has been achieved.
