After reading it, I didn't understand it. It generally seems to be a story about an elderly father who accompanies his daughter who is busy to death. My father is down and out, divorced, and old. The daughter is ambitious, capable and powerful, crazy busy, and emotionally estranged from her parents. The father changed his name and appeared in his daughter's life in the image of Tony Erdman. The dentures, the furry bear, the father was funny, but subtly influenced the daughter to open her heart and find herself.
It seems that there is no plot, and they are all small fragments of life, but they are real. For example, I feel the pressure and busyness of my daughter. I don't have the energy and time to appreciate life. Is this the essence and happiness of life? But young people are caught in such a mainstream. The father is clumsy and frustrated, but still emphasizes humor and has a different understanding and attitude to life.
You can't have both, the ideal is plump, and the reality is very skinny.
